Re: Moon M530 Delay - IC Chip

Buried in the comments of JLR’s epic length YouTube video on this delay module, he says it has an ARM microcontroller. The module has a striking resemblance to Erica Synths eurorack digital delay in both appearances and function. The Erica module is definitely DSP.

Corsynth’s new envelope generator. 2 spaces, 4/6 envelopes and they all do looping.

Re: Robotmakers - These Moths Will Drink the Tears of Sleeping Birds

Whenever I see a new RobotMakers tune posted I immediately smash the play button knowing that enjoyment will be forthcoming. I have never been disappointed and this one is no exception to that rule. Outstanding, as always! Loved to tones/sounds, the playing and the tune!

Re: Where can I find MOTM to Synthesizer.com power converter?

Rich/Flareless made an adapter for me before. I’d attach a picture if I wasn’t so inept. It has a shrouded male DotCom header and a female MOTM header on the other end. It is only about 4” long.

Great work!! Now pack it up and don't keep Mr. Wayne waiting ;)
:foul: Don't "out" my clients!
I’m getting confused here. If Robin is Mr. Wayne, does this mean Batman and Robin are one in the same? The only thing that is clear is that Dave is really Alfred.

I have one (dual) in my rack too. I use it all the time. If it needs to be pressed into full mixer duties I just put an attenuator in front of the input(s).

Re: Xaoc Odessa, 1975 Variable Spectrum Harmonic Cluster VCO

A few pointers for bass with the Odessa: Bank and Harmonic Factor close to 12 o’clock. Partials in the 10 to 40 neighborhood. Spectral Tilt usual past 11 o’clock but not much past 2 o’clock. Peaking to the left of center. Comb and Warp usually to the left of center, but there is a lot explore all ov...

Re: Odessa vs SWN - Chords & Chordal Harmonies

Odessa is not. With Odessa, you would need dedicated LFOs, Filters, Effects, etc to get the maximum enjoyment out of it. Xaoc even recommends you add at least a Lipsk and/or a Drezno to maximize modulation. This combo, from what I've heard demonstrated is really nice. I personally want to get all o...

I use wood rails. Because I don’t move modules often and my case is small but roomy, I use bolts/nuts. Many people use wood screws.

Re: New to the format !!!

Very few PCBs have hardware mounted to the board. Wiring is part of the 5u DIY experience. Just because you are using the mechanics of MOTM doesn’t mean you need to stick with the rigid layout of the original Synth Tech modules. Or even size (width). You can get flat panels made to MU dimensions. Yo...

Hey Rich - It looks great! A quick question about it: on Oakley’s website it looks like the CV2 pot is bipolar, but on your module it looks like it is positive only. Is your’s uni or bi polar?

Thank you sduck and synthetic for your 1/8” to 1/4” cable recommendations, does anyone have any more recommendations from US based retailers that are shorter than 3 feet? With all of the different cv controllers that use 1/8” jacks (Korg SQ-1, Arturia Keystep and Beatstep, etc), I am finding that I...

Re: MOTM Filter Bank that never was

I’m surprised that FSfx, SSL, or some other entrepreneur never ported Synth Tech stuff to MU. I know that the E950/1 and the E330 can run on 15v and I think most/all before those can as well. If Paul was contacted by one of them they might even be able to get the loaded PCBs with out the knobs mount...

Re: Eurorack, next to 5U?

I just made a case for my Eurorack. I expanded from a 104hp metal skiff to a whooping 126hp wooden case. When it is filled, I’m done. I’ll sell the skiff soon. My modest 5u case also has room for a few more modules and it will be done. My Eurorack case is mainly for clocking/basic sequencing and fo...
