Re: Complex Osc vs alternatives
I’ve never heard of, let alone heard, Alva Noto or 0 before and if they truly maximize their music in that high of a frequency range I never will - due to normal aging (and I have been good about taking care of my hearing) I top out around 11kHz. The highest note on a standard 88 key piano is C8 = 4...

Re: Book recommendations on synthesis techniques / sound design
A wiggler is close to republishing the Allen Strange book. There is a lengthy thread about it in MW. You Should BUY a copy when it comes out (soonish). Having said that, I have owned a copy of it for many years and highly recommend it -as a second or third book/source on synthesis. It is a college t...

The AfterLater Benjolin has an external in for the filter, which is perfect for this.

A follow-up to my OP. I got things working now, but I'm not 100% sure how/why. All the settings are the same as what I had tried a million times, but now it works. The last thing I tried was changing the CoreAudio setting in Auria to "multiroute", which had no effect, and then changing it back to "...

The one option from that thread that you overlooked is a workbench/table. They come in different lengths and are designed to handle a lot of weight.

OK Boomers. Get out of the way and let the next generation of 5u users through. If knobs that aren’t in a straight row and two knobs with unique names have you this upset just take your heart medicine and sit in your rocking chair. If you don't care about the small details of a good, user-friendly ...

Re: Pots on Manis Iteritas Magnus as attenuators?
On most NE modules the pots offset (cv plus level) when the jacks are in use. My BIM eats up a few attenuators when in use. I assume the MIM is the same.

Re: Moon M530 Delay - IC Chip
Buried in the comments of JLR’s epic length YouTube video on this delay module, he says it has an ARM microcontroller. The module has a striking resemblance to Erica Synths eurorack digital delay in both appearances and function. The Erica module is definitely DSP.

Whenever I see a new RobotMakers tune posted I immediately smash the play button knowing that enjoyment will be forthcoming. I have never been disappointed and this one is no exception to that rule. Outstanding, as always! Loved to tones/sounds, the playing and the tune!

Re: Where can I find MOTM to Synthesizer.com power converter?
Rich/Flareless made an adapter for me before. I’d attach a picture if I wasn’t so inept. It has a shrouded male DotCom header and a female MOTM header on the other end. It is only about 4” long.

I’m getting confused here. If Robin is Mr. Wayne, does this mean Batman and Robin are one in the same? The only thing that is clear is that Dave is really Alfred.

I have one (dual) in my rack too. I use it all the time. If it needs to be pressed into full mixer duties I just put an attenuator in front of the input(s).
