Thanks!
Odd thing with the part number, yes - but as long as it's easily solvable like that ...

SVF calibration help

just finishing quite a lot of Oakley modules - each and everyone working first time, thanks to the great PCBs and thorough building instructions. Now calibrating the SVF's V/Oct I can't reach 1 octave per volt (this is measuring with a precision lab supply and oscilloscope). I get something around 1...

This time, I'll try to 3d-print a holder for the module, since the jacks being separate cannot serve for this purpose. i'm relying on the screw between the midi jacks to do this job... Yes, I can see that. Maybe I just wanted an excuse to put my recently bought Anycube Photon to good use ... :hihi:

No, µTune is now only available as completely assembled version. We were thingking about offering a DIY version, but it would not have been cheaper. On request we can offer µTune w/o front panel for those who want to spin their own panel. I'm just working on a 5U version of µTune. In this case it w...

470pF polyprop. 1% - source? (Europe)

Hello! I'm just going trough my Oakley backlog, and for the SVF I need two 470pF, 63V 1% polypropylene It's not easy to find these with 1% - somebody has a source (Europe), or a part number, or an alternative? And since I misplaced the PTCs I had ordered for my two VC-LFOs: has somebody a source for...

I think, the Hordijk case format is a very good solution: it's portable, light, very easy to tilt (on a guitar stand for example), and slim. See here: Case example or here: Hordijk live The reason that is true is that performance synths with control panels that are designed from the get go to be on ...

+OUT/-OUT/COM and the outer sense pins +S/-S are clear. But whats the point of the +S/-S connections in the bracket in the middle? Using a bench supply is certainly one way to do it - but it's possibly a little complicated and bulky. One thing to note is that using DC to supply the Oakley PSU will create a large power-on surge current. You may wish to reduce the smoothing capacitors to something like 100uF. I think you'll need...

power solution: old lab supply instead of PA-20/30 ?

Yes, power question again. I'm just planning my Oakley system. About 20 modules are already built or will be finished soon. And more to come, obviously :-) The whole system will live in a shelf, so this is not a movable solution, just for context. My planning is to use two Oakley PSUs feeding into H...

I want delay and I especially want karplus-strong in my diy modular! The closest thing I know of is JH's son of storm tide flanger. Which seems like an awesome project - but it's HUGE with tons of bells and whistles. I just want a simple CV delay with a wide ranging time base. (fast enough to do k-...

Re: Is there a MIDI-CV module that does this?

HI, I have a Q174 and a Moon 551, so far so good. But I'm wishing someone made a 1U module that had a MIDI in, and then maybe just 8 outputs, with each putting out 0-5v, and each mapped to a common controller, like 0-7 or 1-8, or whatever. It wouldn't be for pitch CV (just for controlling things), ...
