Re: Noob looking for ~intuitive quad panning options
From Shakmat's post in a different thread, posted yesterday:
"A little update on our upcoming modules
Aeolus seeds and mixer are now in production
"
So, we should see these two modules in store soon. The V3kt has been out for some time I believe, but don't know about availability.

Check out Shakmat Modular's Aeolus Seeds and Aeolus Mixer. The Antimatter Audio V3kt may also be useful to you.

Huh, never noticed that. Sweet, I'll have to pay more attention to that. ThanksZymos wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 8:13 am“Spread” increases panning of the individual claps.philipdeman wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 1:50 amI still have to figure out what the difference is between the L and R output

Re: A nasty case of the clap
I'll put in a fourth recommendation for the Fracture. Being able to not only dial in the number of people clapping up to a full auditorium but also somehow realistically mimic a couple of drunk dudes sitting in a room clapping out of sync is more fun than it should be. I will say that the reverb is ...

Re: THE SEARCH FOR A NEW FILTER
with the Joranalogue Morph4 one could patch in band, low, high, and notch filters in and scan between the four. I don't know why more people aren't freaking out about this new module Good question. Similar quad crossfader modules has existed in the past without gaining much popularity. EFN had a Bl...

Re: Anyone know of anything comparable to the Percall?
The ADDAC 106 has 4 voices, each of which can be triggered, either by a gate or trigger or by any other CV signal that can be set to be converted to a trigger as soon as a threshold is passed. You can then set the decay individually for each voice. From the description: "At each voice input there’s ...

Re: First post! LEVIT8 + S.P.O or two 3xMIAs + 2hp AVert
I don't actually have any of these modules and I don't know how open you are to other suggestions, but if workflow + features are your main concerns, then I would look into Frap Tools 321. In 6 HP it offers offset, attenuversion (where inversion is done using a switch so you never have trouble findi...

... but it seems way more difficult than it should be to find modules with 6-8 simple CV-modulators that combine attenuation/amplification/10V offset in an affordable and ergonomic package. Why is this 'more difficult than it should be'? It's a very niche use case. 8 channels of amplification, how ...

Good call about the 2HP, but the Avert does not seem to provide additional gain. Neither does the 2HP VCA apparently. Bummer

Forgot about the Hinton, that's probably the best alternative there is right now, but quite a bit more pricey. Appreciate the suggestion

Re: Attenuverter
Is the Levit8 still the only module that combines 8 attenuators with inversion and 2 x gain (or more) into a 10HP-ish package? I don't even really care about the small footprint, but it seems way more difficult than it should be to find modules with 6-8 simple CV-modulators that combine attenuation/...

someone posted something in another thread about an upcoming instruo module ('saïch') comprising 4 analogue sawtooth oscillators with individual V/Oct inputs in 12 HP. not sure when and how much, and the only source so far is one of the instruo trading cards, but hey, would be a natural fit with har...

I won't say never but I'm not really set up to sell replacement panels at the moment. (Picking this up from the other thread.) Even if you don't do separate replacement panels, do let us know if Soundstage gets a run in the matte panels of the new modules. I'll pick a new unit up and sell my curren...

I just received an email from Jason confirming that the Lion 6x6 matrix mixer is real and in the pipeline. I was a little surprised to discover that the IN and cv knobs don't have any effect on the shaping unless there is an input plugged in.
