Re: best SOUNDING signal path MODULES

A lot of people seem to really like the L-1 VCA (e.g. Paul @ Synth Tech has spoken highly of it, Robert Rich uses it, I just saw Jamie Liddell praising it in a DivKid YT interview). For output models some people use that as well, I use the Vermona Tai-4 and I like it, but I also wouldn't consider my...

Re: Introducing W/ (wslash) looper by Mannequins

For the basic w/ action you want something to make triggers (or gates IIRC) for THIS and something to provide constant voltage +/- for THAT Cold Mac can do the constant voltage, but eventually you might want something specific (I use a befaco attenuverter, pretty simple). For triggers etc there’s lo...

I am biased as I find the morphagene very inspiring and it completely shifted how I used my eurorack. I do think it's pretty immediate and sitting down with the manual for an hour should be sufficient (although there are things like preparing samples in advance I haven't tried yet). The big issue is...

I got mine a couple days ago and it's a super useful module; really nice EQ and the individual outs are great for sending sounds around to different filters, delays, etc.

I use the m2.5 knurlies in a MN skiff and it works great. So much easier than normal screws. I also have some nuts that need replacing but that’s about it.
Knurlies are great!

Should I just "float" the jacks above the circuit board with the pins barely reaching the other side and solder them that way? Yes that’s the way. I would hold the board and pcb firmly and flip it over to let the jacks be flush with the panel, then put nuts on the jacks and solder. IIRC the manual ...

I am in JP. I tend to use mouser or tayda (or digikey). If your order on mouser is over 5,000jpy shipping is free (I think, it's been a while). I've also used Ali Express for things I need but not quickly. I have occasionally ordered things from JP electronic components shops if I'm out of luck with...

I use a 3 sisters with the befaco crush delay in a similar fashion ---> but i've found *especially* handy the instruo tanh module as a limiter.
that's 4hp, so you'd need a >4hp module with it.

It's very straightforward (just make sure your LEDs are correctly oriented)

I just built one at a Befaco workshop. It was a pretty straightforward build, although a lot of sliders and jacks. Nothing too complex and in terms of parts its pretty manageable.

Haven't had too much time to play with it but it has a lot of useful functionality! Gate mode is fun.

Interested in x2! I like the idea of having reverbs in one bank, delays in another, etc. I haven't updated my dervish in a long time, I've been using the shimmer on pretty much everything.

I’m interested. I’ll be at a Befaco diy workshop in a few weeks and try and drum up interest.
Cheers! Fingers crossed.
