Re: Euclidean rhythm with control over all 3 parameters using cvs?

It really seems possible to do it with the Droid!

Something like
[euklid]
clock = i1
reset = i2
length = i3*15+1
beats = i4*15+1
offset = i5*15+1
output = o1

would do the trick for a 16 setps sequence!

Re: Euclidean rhythm with control over all 3 parameters using cvs?

Thx for all your answers! So, there is no small solution for having all 3 parameters of euclidean rhythms to be controlled by cvs at the same time. Teletype plus extras, Hermod and IOlabs Flux are to big of a solution just for that. Maybe by Ardurino? Found this in here : https://www.muffwiggler.com...

Euclidean rhythm with control over all 3 parameters using cvs?

Hi!

Is there a module that can control the 3 parameters of euclidean rythms (start position, sequence length, number of beats) with 3cvs?

I find many controlling sequence length and number of beats with cvs and start position using a nob... but nothing using 3cvs.

Thx

Switch channels by voltage value module?

Hi! Is there a module that can switch outputs from a voltage value? E.g.: output to channel 1 if the voltage is under x volt, channel 2 if between x and y volts, channel 3 if between y and z, etc., where x, y, z, etc, values could be set by a pot? An control cv in, an audio/cv in/out and 4 to 8 outp...

Quantizer Addac207 or some disting mk4 using Scala files?

Hi! A strange question maybe: Would a few Disting mk4 using Scala scale files make a similar/better/worse job than a ADDAC207? I was looking at adding the 207 to my modular but the idea of using some Disting got me and I don't know anymore! The Disting does more and with the import /shipping/price o...

I thought about building one some time ago... I don't think it's the right path for me.

Doepfer A-198 seams to be the way to go.

Thx for the advices.

ribbon

Hi!

I'm looking into a ribbon controler for modular. Should I go Doepfer A-198, Eowave Ribbon2 or anything else that I don't know about?

What is the octave range of the autocalibration? Will it try to have de widest set possible for each vco?

FH-2 auto calibration question, FH-1

Hi! I have read that the FH-2 can autocalibrate midi/cv to vco by output. What I am not sure about is: is it possible for exmple to have 4 midi channels->cv to 4 differents vco be calibrated at the same time? If not is there one of your modules that can do it? Can the FH-1 be calibrated for many vco...

Hi!

Tuning on channel 1 out 1 to ~.5 cents on 2 differents vco.

+/- 5 (ok) to -25(?) cents (out 5 channel 3).

I think it is not necessarily a problem since I can simply tune each vco whit the out in use. But it was odd when I stumble upon it. Maybe it can cause trouble whit other functions?

Thx

FH-1 trouble?

Hi! I am sending midi from a daw to FH-1 via a Uno interface. I am trying to send 4 midi track to the modular using midi channel 1 to 4. Befaco answered

Hi!

The answer is that yes C3 is 3 volts (entire numbers are C on the different octaves 0 volt = C0, 1 volts = C1 etc.) so the C3 on the Metropolis or similar modules should return 3 volts and be used to calibrate the Befaco sampling modulator.

Thx.

unity gain mixer versus averager?

Hi! In the MI Links description "The 3:1 section is a 3-input mixer, with a gain of 1⁄3 per channel (also known as an averager). It is particularly suitable for rapidly mixing audio sources such as oscillators, for which a unity gain mixer would have caused clipping." Why does a unity gain mixer cau...

I am not refering to manifacturing standards!!!!!

Important : I am not refering to manifacturing standards, I am talking about standard in music!! So, here again : Like in jazz, do we have standards in modular? Standard ideas perhaps, like the "Krell muzak patch"? Looking for other patch like the Krell or other "standards" to try on my modular. Thx
