It would be nice to see some photos of people's finished builds. I always fear DIY sales getting stockpiled for the after-life.. : / Not here! I built the actual PCB months ago, so within a couple of days of getting your panel (thanks!), I had it mounted. Magically, everything lined up pe...

Any news on the Hyperchaos++ ? I'm kind of holding off on an order depending on whether this might see the light of day sometime soonish. :goo: Yep got them in stock, just been too busy building modules to update the sales page. Re: Serge
You have to source, but the main PCB has a mouser cart link at the bottom of the page.mbleming wrote:Do these include parts, or do buyers have to source them on their own?

Good stuff - i think Whoop John posted earlier about pcbs - i think it was the last post on the env follower thread (ill check in a moment) Could i ask you (and anyone else) to make it 100% clear if you do want a panel, so as there is no ambiguity. Ill start a list in the first post on this thread....

Yeah, it seems strange that the LED *wouldn't* consistently reflect the output signal, especially as the output itself is working as expected. I used 4.7K resistors, maybe I need to up the values or something Just to confirm, I just did a quick test and indeed my LEDs (on all three) are in sync wit...

The off bit that I'm experiencing is that, more often than not, the gate 3 LED (and sometimes the gate 2 but less so) will illuminate steadily for a period of time but the output is actually sending periodic gates as expected, it's just the LED doesn't always flash in time with those... is that nor...

Neither of those is really a "trimmer" - they're both panel controls, one with a plastic shaft and the other with a metal shaft. They should be electrically identical (assuming they have the same resistance value). Great. This is what I assumed...but I wanted to check. I don't know what you mean by...

Substituting 9mm panel trimmer for 9mm pot
If you substitute the common 9mm panel trimmer, this: http://www.taydaelectronics.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/211x211/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/a/-/a-1873.jpg instead of this: http://www.taydaelectronics.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/211x211/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136...

Has anyone who already built it a Mouser Cart or some links to share? big thanks :hail: :hail: :help: Unfortunately, I don't have a cart saved, but in the very least, some of the parts in the BOM contain a Mouser part number, so that helps a bit. Tayda has all the regular passives too, if that's no...

I've developed a hatred for that Mouser cart/BOM/project tool. Dreadful thing. I can't say I love it, but it works okay for me, but then I don't deal with it on the level of complexity you do I suppose. One general tip for anyone who might be ordering parts for multiple circuits that I'm fond of is...

Do you have an advice, how to solder the electrolytic caps? I find the legs are way too short. gbiz has you covered better than I can. I can't say I followed his specific work flow, but was able to come up with a system that worked well enough. I was surprised at how fiddly those electrolytics were...

Same here.I'm also expecting some loss on the resistors (they like to jump out of the case into thin air). Weirdly, in the 25 or so SMD modules I've built, I don't recall ever losing a single resistor! I've been warned over and over again that it will happen, but so far, fingers crossed, good...
