Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

An incredible amount of additional functionality! Its like a new instrument. 8 voices, internal resampling, the new filters. You have been VERY busy. :hail: The new SPF filters and SVF filters are really nice :yay: . They have an almost analog character to them. Really smooth! Love em! Internal samp...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

RESAMPLE!!!!

Yes I'm so glad this will be added. Love coming up with a crunchy sound and then saving it. I've been sampling them into the LD3 for now but being able to do it internally would be very much appreciated.

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

4 more voices would be brilliant! For stuff like hats and rimshots or samples the extra voices would be totally fine without the analog filters. Great idea that gives more flexibility to this wild beast.

Re: RE-303 Sonic Potions vs Quicksilver CPU vs Pixie

I'd check with the guys at dinsync to confirm the Quicksilver CPU will drop in. It probably requires some parts that a builder might have skipped installing (such as the yellow ift coil) if they were building it for the Sonic Potions CPU. Pixie will work fine as it manages clock duties onboard. I've...

Re: RE-303 stopped working

Download the build notes from the re303 website and follow the tests on it that are listed after each section. First thing I’d check is that the power supply is working correctly. Then that you are getting tone from the oscillator and so on. http://privat.bahnhof.se/wb447909/dinsync/shop/RE-303v1.2B...

Gotharman’s Little deformer 3 with its morph feature fits your criteria.

AHH yes that is a wonderful addition to the sequencing! Great idea. Love the all gate adjustments. The position rotate is really cool sounding too

funky!

Re: Gotharman's Little deFormer 3

Bumply as far as I know there isn't a way to take 1v/oct CV to LD3 input and get the LD3 oscillators to track it. Probably the best you could do is use an external CV sequencer that you could just set arbitrary CVs to get the individual pitches you want on LD3. You could play with some sort of multi...

Re: Gotharman's Little deFormer 3

There is a modulation source touchY for touching the main screen and getting Y data with keyboard data. Not quite the same as X/Y (which would be nice!) but useful. And flx loving the vids! Keep them coming. Enjoyed the sequencer video. Its nice to see it all laid out in such a structured fashion. I...

Re: Gotharman's Tiny LD

I'm not sure what the problem is. You just hit save, touch the preset you want to save to, name it and hit save again and its saved. If its not saving as you expect it to then maybe you have an issue where you were editing with the morph knob turned? Perhaps a video showing your problem would help.

Re: Gotharman's Little deFormer 3

I forgot that was how the 1v and 1vs modes works! Should have remembered that. I was really happy when you added 1vs in as an option. I think you will need to use a tuner to get the QaScale value correct for 1vs. I noticed using a voltmeter I needed approx -20 to get 1v/oct and when I plugged it int...

Re: Gotharman's Little deFormer 3

Using the 1V setting and checking it using a voltmeter I seem to be getting around .5v/oct (weird). With 1Vs I can get it tracking accurately at 1v/oct but I have to adjust the QaSCL (on the TMP page of the seq control track) amount a little bit like +20 or so. Anyway yes it does work here across mu...

Re: RE-303 Opinions wanted (now that it has been in the "wild" for a bit.)

As I had a rather substantial amount of free time all of a sudden I decided it was time to finally build my RE-303 Kit. I designed and printed a case/knobs/buttons for it to give it a different look. I printed it with glow in the dark filament for fun :) I think it sounds fantastic. I've gone throug...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Love the design of this!

The gotharman devices are already fantastic for coming up with crazy drum patterns and rhythmic loops.

I probably use my LD3 as a rhythm box most of the time.

Looking forward to seeing how this new box which is focused on drum duties develops! :yay: :sb:

Re: Gotharman's Little deFormer 3

Thats right. However you can quite quickly copy and paste all the current synth settings from one part to another in a different preset. So if you had built up a song and then wanted to drastically edit a synth lead it wouldnt require much effort to update all the other presets in the song to the sa...

Thanks Scories! The Left output of the LD3 can be used as a headphone jack which is what I have been using though I can see advantages to having the mixinglink. A battery powered mic pre/fx loop/minimixer in pedal form factor is pretty cool. Appreciate the suggestion. I'll never be able to look at v...

Its a a shrolca. Fun compact little synth with a nice analog filter. The poly touch keyboard is a perfect lightweight companion for tiny LD3. Just using it for its midi keyboard in the video.

I've been having fun using the sample XFADE mode on LD3. Just a short video of (Tiny) LD3 creating a pad sound using two samples of my voice doing an oooh ahhh sound and crossfading between the two looping samples. Passes through a VCF8 Spaze and granulating delay. Iphone LOFI audio. Really like the...

This creates a common ground between gear. Its useful if you are connecting equipment with different power supplies. Since Banana jacks do not also have a ground (like 1/4" or 1/8" cables) you need to hook their ground jacks together to prevent weird things happening. Oscillator stability, lfo rates...
