Re: What is the worst synth sounding you ever bought and why ?

rytm - was great on the paper, but i had a pretty bad feeling with the pad, and the sound was very dark, i don't make really shiny music, but really make me thik she had a very bad soul. monomachine - just don't like the sound, user waveform was nice. But most important it was the use of a step sequ...

Re: New Elektron Teaser

Fm synth are always been my favorites on the machinedrum, those ones (based on the interface buttons) looks not as complex as the MD.
Still looks a fun machine for the price.

Damn i just would like they make the machinedrum os open source and have someone update it with microtiming :)

Re: sandin image processor

first patch is impressive, wondering how to do all this spiral and rotation on an fully analog LZX system.
I suppose this patch is pretty based on some feedback use.

Re: thonk order missing parts? tell us your story!

i made an order around 70 jacks weren't the good one.
I start my build one year later, notice it was the wrong part. I contact them and they sent me the correct one without asking me to send back the wrong part.
They are really nice.

i'm really curious about topogram. I think i get the doorway and staircase part of it, you input a layer, and you have different harmony level of soft keying on the output. i can imagine the render of that part. But i'm missing the sequential part. Really would like to see some demos, with hourglass...

did anyone use Mutable Instruments Stages in a video rig ? i think this one may be ace.

HOURGLASS looks cool, but i think it needs something like the stages to go on another level.

Still i have the teletype and just friends in my rig, but we never have enough modulation :)

what do you want do with ? There's a big thread about this but it's kind of hard to read. If i can sum up a little: Squarp will a a harder learning curve, will be more powerful in sequencing. The squid will be more limited in sequencing, but will have a fast worflow, some fun thing for live control ...

Really wondering if there will be a successor to marble index. Not the best time for me to buy one :/ and scared that it ll not be possible next. tower and marionette looks nice, all this outputs of LOOM made a weird workflow for me, would be more easy and more alive in a system to have a waveshaper...

Not sure I am understanding this correctly - why are there filters in a module that only has sine oscillators?
cause there are multiple sine oscillators
