I think that keyboard needs some kind of special interface, Noisebug said Moon was working on an interface module at some point but I didn't hear where that went. Moon 598CP, pictured on the lower left (CP module) listed as part of a MOON System, but nothing about being available on it's own. Best ...

Anybody here get one of these yet ? The yusynth demo's are
very impressive, the sequencer demo's are reminiscent of
early Tangerine Dream :yay: I'm almost ready to pull the
trigger on this one.

Perhaps all the Sound collections Are available to Flashcard in Future. won't happen, if you want more Mellotron sounds, you will have to individually purchase the library discs, there are 4 volumes with a 5th volume coming next year! Thanks for clearing that up.. I owned the original with the buil...

Thats why i chose the Keyboard Version with the Disc Drive.
Looking at the new keyboard version, it appears that the disc drive has been removed ?

Yes Doug is a a Keith Emerson fan.. Way back when, before the Internet.. :youkids: , I obtained an old Moog modular 35 system (they were cheap then). It came with no manual.. no instructions .. Just a pile of patch cords. I had no idea how the thing worked, although I was familiar with the minimoog,...

How about a Moon Modular CP Multiple , in a small enclosure, definitely in the stomp box size zone your looking for, probably not much bigger than the ARP box you mention.

First saw him with ELP when I was a teenager at Madison Square Garden, NYC, in the 1970's. Completely altered my perception and appreciation of music. An incredibly talented and gifted musician, I consider myself lucky to have witnessed him perform live with that amazing sounding Moog system. RIP :w...

This is my OBSX demo, skip to 1:26 and 9:56 for a brief example of the unequal glide rates. At 2:10 and 9:56 the portamento is all the way up and you can really hear it. Nice demo :yay: What beautiful sounding synth. I really hope DSI incorporates the vintage Oberheim Portamento and Filter tracking...

I know one of the development guys at DSI and I gave him the tip on unequal glide rates and filter tracking. We'll see what happens. If it's something that can be done via a modification in their software, as described and demonstrated by Chip in his post above..,I hope they seriously consider your...

One of the signiture aspects of the OBX, OBXa,and OB8 was how the portamento worked while in the unison mode. In that case the portamento for each voice was slightly "detuned" or lagged...meaning they all had slightly different portamento rates which produces a wonderful wall of sound! I've never o...

9 months for a complete system does not sound too unreasonable, considering I've seen here on Muff's where people waited longer than that for a single module (not Mos-Labs) to ship after placing their order.
