Re: Moog Model 15 vs iOS App: Very different?

so, I have a lot of hours with both, and to be honest, I think the Model 15 app is pretty damn good. obviously, its different than a true Model 15, in a lot of ways, but the workflow is very similar and there actually some great things that are added, (like a delay, polyphony, arp, etc...) theres no...

Re: Roland TR-06, TR-6s, TR-606 (cloud)

Was going to get an RD-6 because its ultimately a little bit more useable and modern than an OG 606, but fuck that.

TR-06 is where its at. I'm sold. Day one buy. Don't care that its digital, it sounds great and the sequencer is way better. 606 is god. can't wait.

Re: Para or Poly synth to compliment Euro set up...OB6, Pro 3, P12 experience?

matriarch is great and would totally recommend it, especially if your setup is lots of euro. loads of different utility and vibe out of that machine however, ive been messing with an ob6 desktop lately and have fallen in love with it. i want it, or the keyboard, badly. its a really fantastic machine...

I believe the more appropriate term would be "cliche", but I get your point.

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox

Interested to see if they do this same type of thing with Traktor as well. I want NI to succeed, but they're going through so much right now as a company and the landscape has really left them playing catchup. Hope they have more tricks up their sleeve. Traktor in a box would have been a killer pro...

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox

For Maschine users it seems great and having synths like Massive and FM8 onboard is pretty powerful, but NI is so late to the game unfortunately. I agree that, IO could be more robust as well. $1400 is a good grip of cash but I do think NI makes nice hardware. (but often overpriced for what it is to...

Re: Tascam Model 12,16,24 (all in one thread)

Got a chance to put my Model 16 though its paces this weekend. Really great mixer. Sounds good and multitracking is stupid easy. Running the recordings back through the mixer is a simple as flicking a switch on each channel. The compressors are a little weird to get dialed in, but do sound good once...

Re: Bout to take the plunge...Moogerfoogers

I'd love a delay and a clusteflux but they're insanely expensive. Matriarch has a great delay that, in some ways, is better than the 104. If you want to spend an extra 600-800ish past the going rate of MF104s, but you'll also have a great synth attached to it :P Minifooger Delay is also a great, ch...

Re: Bout to take the plunge...Moogerfoogers

103 is DEFINITELY the unsung hero of the whole line. I have two (one for sale if anyone is interested ) It's certainly overshadowed by the 104 and 108.

Scoop a CP251 if you can also. Adds so much to the whole Moogerfooger setup. Such an amazing little modular setup.
