Re: most beautiful synthesizers

My top 3. I prefer the form factor of 3 octave synths the most and I’m partial to current designs and models. That being said, my favorite vintage look has to go to the Kawai SX-240. 3950482B-B9E2-4C6A-B087-E7C4F5E68C8F.jpeg CFAF371B-8EAA-4559-A4D7-67C5A8C2DDA8.jpeg E4F93CD1-E5AD-4615-A136-6A051F6F3...

This entire design looks so awesome to me and its functionality follows suit.
I agree. The layout with the feature set was a selling point for me. Love the form factor.

Re: New Eurodesk-Z Desktop Equipment Stands

any chance you have a smaller synth you can take a picture on the stand with (Bass Station, Monologue, Argon8, etc) There’s some on the Instagram account, with an early prototype. I can take some tho! Thanks for the support! Jesse its all good. ill figure out what to do with it when it gets here :tu:

*Cough. Deepmind.
It's not a clone of a classic.
The early Junos (6, 60, 106) absolutely fall into the classic category. Scratching my head rn.
True, but it's not a straight clone, more an 'inspired by' or clone+ if you will.

Re: Thicker sounding attack on kicks (techniques)

try sidechaining too - but not the ducking style. If you're doing thinsg in the box - take a multiband EQ and link the volume of the midbass band to your kick drum. Every time your kick sounds - then the buss with the rest of your mix will dip lower - but only in the freq range of the kick drum. No...

Re: Thicker sounding attack on kicks (techniques)

Layering always helps. If your using a DAW adding Saturation, Drum Buss, Compression and EQ can go a long way.

And looks the part too in this type of live setup. More so than say, an Analog Heat.
Looks very impressive, but the Analog Heat is great if your on a stricter budget.

Re: Wishing Roland would make a Alpha Boutique?

id rather see them invest their resources into recreating the JD-800. This! With the added features of the JD-990 would be great. But not in Boutique format. That'd be worse than the JP8 Boutique for tweezer twiddling tedium. This is where the D-05 excels. There was never much of an interface to be...
