Re: DUSG Help!

Well done to everyone who has managed to build a working CGS114! I had some issues too, which were thankfully just down to me being daft and missing the one of the wire links in the bottom half of the board. Funny thing was I did the same thing on both the boards I built for a quad slope on a Serge ...

Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] synthCube acquires Blacet Research

:blacet: :sb: Great news. Thanks Synthcube for ensuring that these designs will live on. I have been keen for a while now to extend my frac system with more VCO 2100s and EG1s (TEM looks amazing) and Super VCAs (any chance of a reboot?). [edited for tone and accuracy] Euro Blacet in black would be c...

This might be of interest to the community. Apologies if it has already been mentioned on the forum. RS-Online if you need something next day (free delivery!), Mouser for specific stuff you can wait a bit for, and Tayda for run of the mill stuff like resistors and whatnot. Jaycar only if it's an emergency (and by some miracle they have what you want in stock) +1 on the above, rs-online is very qui...

Sorry if this is a stupid question... the Wikipaedia page linked above mentions a disadvantage of this kind of design, (relatively) high power draw/heat dissipation, although it could well be worth it 😃 ... So what's the current draw on these modules? I'm keen for a pcb/panel in the next run...

Fantastic - thank you Ian, that was really easy. No more disturbing weirdness from other modules when I switch modes! Back to making incredible, fat, squealy Threeler goodness... without wincing every time I reach for that rotary switch! :guinness: There probably should be a limiting resistor in ser...

I don't doubt it, thanks for the info, I will be sure to check next time I order rotary switches. But I'm curious about whether it's possible to kludge my existing one instead of swapping it out (yes I'm lazy, and cheap!) I would be willing to bet you have a shorting rotary in there. I am always ver...

I'm having the same issue with my threeler - so I completely avoid switching modes while it's powered up! :omg: ... would this be an easy fix? What value resistor would be suitable?

The facebook thread has been a bit quiet for the last week or so. I'm not 100% sure what's going on but I think Dmitri is making sure the TPS functions as planned before finalising the panel order. There was talk of accepting payments soon but as far as I can tell nobody has paid yet and the group b...

I have the same problem with the Thomas White LPGs, I have only built two but they have very different behaviour/character in filter mode. One is super smooth and warm, the other is harsh and bitey. Not ideal in a dual module. I assumed I had screwed up one of the builds but maybe not... Could it be...

How regular and/or reproducible are the pulse sequences? Is there some kind of memory mechanism? How do different pulse ...

My advice would be to leave it as-is. I am happy to wire the jacks off-board. Editing Pd patches by sshing into the Pi via a USB WiFi stick would be great! Nice work. thank you. ... about wifi, well, i guess that might even be doable. at least, there are pads on the pcb to install a vertical pcb mount usb receptacle (type A). it's not connected to anything, just breaking out...
