Re: Steady State Fate Vortices - Mono + Stereo Mixer w/ Tape Sim

Looks interesting, if its supposed to be a performance tool why are the knobs boxed in by cables? on three sides if you use the expander, which i cant imagine this without. which brings up the point about expanders and how why is there one thats 2hp with what i would call essential functionality? i ...

Re: Black Hole DSP 1 Any downside?

I just sold mine and regret it a bit. it sounds good and they sell cheap. hadnt hbeen using so much since i got an H9 but i might buy another someday. the bit reduction sounds great i just find that as far as effects go i really often voltage control delays for which i have the DLD.

i agree that its not the module its how you patch them but if you put it into A101-3 -> RES EQ these can pump it up to 1000

Re: Mic to audio processing module

Also for me sometimes i use my mackie vlz mixer Alt3-4 output to amplify some mics, the mute button routes them out the back. so if you have an outboard mixer you can route the mic into your eurorack without buying anything.

i might suggest some highly adjustable function generator. i tend to find with a bit of self patching you can achieve really interesting sounds. I gravitate to the R*S DUSG or SSG and with your triple wavefolder you could do alot. i know they are big and not cheap but the first tides i use with heav...
