Re: 3 Complex Oscillators Blind Test (Rubicon/DPO/Furthrrrr)

I find having both 1 and 2 would compliment each other well. 1 for glassy clean sounds, 2 for dirtier furry sounds.

3 was somewhere in the middle in all the wrong ways. I didn’t like how it responded to CV modulations

Re: Joranalogue SWITCH 4 - Performance Switcher/Router

Joranalogue , this is a great idea for a new complimentary module... you could call it ROUTE 8? :yay: :help: Thanks for the suggestion. I'm afraid it wouldn't make much sense to release such a module though. S4 is already a product with relatively low margins and sales. This new module would overla...

I wish the top half was as it is now with the two knobs for 4-into-1 use cases, but the bottom half had two more knobs and their own jacks for the 1-into-4 use cases, instead of the switches it has in the bottom half now... for unipolar -> bipolar: I don't know of any alternatives to using a negative offset
A capacitor (eg in a hpf) ? (depending on the signal eg if the frequency is not slow :-) )
Wouldn’t this essentially have the same effect as AC coupling a CV thus completely filtering it out?

I’ve not tried, but I assume the inputs and outputs aren’t reversible.
You can’t as it’s buffered.

Re: Joranalogue SWITCH 4 - Performance Switcher/Router

Love this module. Very useful. You know what would like to see? I’d like to see the opposite of this module’s top knobs. In other words instead of routing 4 inputs to one output, route 1 input to 4 outputs with the turn of a knob + have the switch to toggle the input (in this case) on and off. Would...

Re: Favorite module that no one knows?

Seconding VCNO; I was about to talk about it and was surprised someone else happened to bring it up. Maybe it's not so obscure after all, but it's not a very common module to see in racks much less out of Hexinverter gear. *fist bump* I currently have VCNO paired with Percall. Match made in heaven ...

Not sure. You might be able to create the same thing with a combination of modules, but Percall is such a well thought out module, that I say if you want it, definitely get it.

Re: Are Powered Cases Too Expensive?

I don’t think they’re expensive if they come with good power supplies and distribution.

For reference, my DIY 20U 150HP case cost me over $1,000 in power alone. That was one thing I wasn’t going to compromise on. Some think I went overkill, but I’m fine with that.

Re: How do you use mutes?

There are some dedicated mute modules though that allow for extra functionality like the ability to create mute groups, which “switches for mutes” method doesn’t quite work.

Take this module for example. It’s definitely on my list:

Re: How do you use mutes?

I really like the Joranalogue Switch2.

All switches have toggle and momentary modes, plus the two knobs at the top allow for routing signals connected to the 4 inputs to additional outputs. I use this for both muting and switching gate patterns for example.

Re: First post! LEVIT8 + S.P.O or two 3xMIAs + 2hp AVert

One thing that Levit8 does that the others (I believe) don’t do is that it actually amplifies. It has 2x amplification factor.

I have the MIA, and love it. Don’t have experience with others.
