For example I want to feed the machine with a sample vocal and I want the less unrecognizable sound out of the machine.
Something still musical of course. But really something crazy.
I fed my Adrenalinn 3 with a Digitakt today: 'still musical but really crazy'.

Re: So, who's using a modular in a band?

BUT, here are some of the issues: --it's more sensitive to bad electricity, as I've discovered in our practice space --I have to tune and calibrate VCOs, which also means 10 minutes of warmup (not always practical when playing with other bands and not playing first). Tuning is actually surprisingly...

Re: Vermona DRM-1 MKIII in the year 2020

I like the DRM-1 MKII a lot.
But I'm still trying to find the 'perfect' the sequencer for me&DRM1.
I tried some. Most fun almost like playing drums were two EHX Clockworks triggering the EHX.
Right now I'm thinking to try it with a drumbrute or Model:Cycles.
Next after I'll a drum pad (via MIDI).

Re: Rack mounted FX

I'd suggest looking at a Lexicon MX200. Lets you choose a pair of effects, in whatever order you'd like. Has three knobs for use with important parameters. Actually has midi and usb if you want to further the use outside of a live setup. It's been around for quite a while, so used ones are easy to ...

Have the R8m. The module was sitting in the shelf until I discovered the R8 Percussion Grinding Patch Box from Circuitbenders UK. (https://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forsale/R8patch/R8patch.html) A great tool for crashing and grinding the R8/R8m... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMPxc4vmUn8&feature=...
