Re: Easel command and Eurorack voltage question

I was going to say that you would need to scale from 1v/oct to 1.2v/oct, but the Command has CV inputs already, so you don't need to do that. :)

We tried to get him to tell us what modules they were, but I think we weren't clear enough in our question. He was also pretty hungry. :)

Re: Pony-Tails and Moog (MU/5U) modulars

I had a mullet in the early 1990s, which I fashioned into a ponytail of sorts, Steven Seagal-style. I was in high school and didn't know what 5U was.

I don't want to be the guy with thinning hair on top and a ponytail in back. Doesn't suit me.

Re: New module: Dual Sequential Switch for Buchla format

While I patiently wait for this module, I'm using a eurorack sequential switch and it's ok. Cable conversion and voltage management are painful.

The module can store up to 5 songs of 16 sequences each, and 7 sequences of up to 16 steps each. Wow!
Wow indeed!

Re: upcoming Morton Subotnick documentary

They posted an update in May saying that the film is almost done: "It’s been a very long time since the last update but we are happy to announce that SUBOTNICK is now in its final stages of editing."

Looking forward to this film. Mort is an awesome guy to listen to.

Re: New Buchla format sequencer from SSL

Ah I misunderstood the docs. I took "The module will store your latest sequence even when the power has been removed." to mean one preset. I defer to your expertise. :)

The 5U version of this is fantastic so I can safely assume the Buchla version will be great too.

When you say 200e format are we talking patch storage?
It doesn't appear to support the 200e preset system. From the docs, it supports one built-in preset.

There's a plus side to this: I realized that the blue knobs and white knobs were switched. Must have come that way from the person from whom I bought it 18 months ago. LOL.

Re: Is my 296e possessed?

I figured it out. The 272e antenna is in the breakout panel behind the 296e. The 296e was pushing up against that. I flipped it over and problem solved.

Re: Is my 296e possessed?

I just tried on mine and it's steady. Not sure what revision is in this as I just purchased it used. But I can confirm I'm not getting anything. Try powering is it possible to power it up from a different power outlet? Perhaps noise in the line? I've had this 296e for about 18 months and this behav...

Is my 296e possessed?

I've noticed a new behavior in my 296e. The values of different channels (represented by the lights on the touchpad thingies) will increase on their own. No input, nothing plugged into the 296e. The values just jump as if I touched the pads. Is this a power problem? Wonkiness in the 296e? I updated ...
