Dear fellows, after assembling and debugging several units of SY1 and SY1M, i am stuck on the last one : i can't find what's wrong. The problem appends on lower voice only. When i play a trigger just after booting, it works fine. But if i let trigger the lower voice during 5 minutes, the VCF starts ...

First unit built ! without too much trouble except the rather long to do tuning (and debug). Similar sound to my THC clone, so good job Satindas ;) I've got several remarks : i don't like the 1/8" midi jack, it would have been easier to use a DIN 5points, especially cause it took me more than an ho...

you should keep the PSU connector on the right side in order to pile up syncussion on top of each other. sysex to configure the midi parameters is welcomed. a midi thru can also be a good idea to chain units (especially with these 1/8" jacks) i can help you with that :) I am interested in 3 units at...

if you compare two old Junos, they effectively sounds a bit different depending of the revision as they don't have the same trannies. I've worked a lot on the x0xb0x circuit and some components are critical in the sound. e.g SK30A-O can't be substituted with another sub model (Y or GR) as the wavef...

Trigger inputs are broken out into connectors on the back for an expansion module. The expansion module will offer MIDI THRU and MIDI OUT as well. i advise you to make a separate panel with all the connections (IN OUT THRU, sync etc)much easier to manage that cable on the sequencer Your project is ...

Dear Fellows, just a quick question : I have built 2 kits and, on both units, the upper voice doesn't behave like down voice. If i push the Decay and Width all the way up, a kind of feedback appears, similar to larsen (bottom voice). Reducing Decay at 75% make it disappear. The top voice is perfectl...

Alpes Machines - Oberheim Matrix Ctrlr

Dear Fellows, I just would like to show you my first product : the Matrix Ctrlr. I've designed it following stuff used in Midibox controller but around an Arduino Mega. It is a custom midi controller that can control up to 4 Matrix 1000/6 together and manage all the patch parameters and memories. Th...
