Re: MusicThing Radio Music -- sounds, patches, ideas

Makes sense, I'm stupid, thanks. Then I'll make real crossfades with my two Radio Musics and VCAs haha.

That doesn't solve my glitching issue though.

Re: MusicThing Radio Music -- sounds, patches, ideas

Hi. I have two Radio Music modules built by different persons and very often, while changing samples with cv, both modules glitch like crazy. I tried changing the crossfade rates on the Settings file but it doesn't change my problem. I believe it's me not patching it right and not a building issue b...

Re: Your Favorite Intellijel 1U modules

Cool topic. I just got a Performance case with a 1u row as well. I'm waiting for the stereo line out 1u and pedal i/o 1u modules to come in the mail. And I wish there were more online demos of the Digiverb. I dislike pretty much all the reverbs I've heard for eurorack as well as the usual shimmery S...

Re: Problems with Ritual Electronics Miasma and Crime

There's no language in which the word "problem" doesn't carry any negative connotation, whatever YOU may think.

So the OP should really take 15 seconds of his/her life and edit the topic title.

Re: What is it about the musical genre "noise" that you find appealing?

I love noise music. Harsh noise, industrial, PE that's not made by try-hard, noisecore, the more agressive musique concrète or electro-acoustic music, etc. For me it's mostly about textures, there's something soothing in harsh sounds kind of like in drones. That's why I love black metal too. I'm cur...

I use a Verbos Multistage with the Miasma and Crime. I love those modules.

Re: Rack layouts

I agree. It's about how you like to patch. What matters to me is being able to wiggle with knobs I need to have on hand freely in my performance case but it doesn't matter in my studio rack because this where I explore stuff and experiment. I also like putting modules with most ins and outs at the b...

Verbos.

Thickest panels in eurorack, laaaarge modules that are great for wiggling, best typefont and Rogans make everything sound better.

Re: Performance under extreme temperature

Last summer I spent hours recording some synth stuff by 38ish °C for two days in the sun, in the middle of a white stone quarry. I had a black 6u filled with black modules, my friends had some Dreadbox synths, etc. One of my friends even passed out from the heat while we played. The synths were fine...

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

Thanks for the input regarding the Intellijel rack. I guess I'll try it out and at worst I'll send it back if I find that the module don't work as well as I'd expect. Or I'll put my 4ms Row Power in it with a flying bus or something.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

Just wondering... Does anyone use their Verbos modules in Intellijel' Stealth Performance cases or Make Noise CV Bus cases (the 7U ones.) If yes, how do your modules react to the PSUs from the cases? I need to buy one next and I'd rather save some space for a module instead of putting my Row Power i...

Re: Wat is to u THE most extreme brutal e-music artist ever??

Whitehouse's Birdseed, as far as I am concerned. Shakerbox and pedals like Masonna does isn't electronics to me. It's like saying a guitar into a pedal is electronics. But maybe I'm splitting Masonna's hair here.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

My Meanwell PSU made everything sound bad. The DFP was unusable in there, the ATC was OK. Then I got a Row Power 40 and everything worked beautifully. I think that if you consider buying Verbos modules but would like to skimp on a decent power supply, you got your priorities wrong. You can't expect ...

How to convince faithful users of the V1 of a module to buy V2? We all known CO + ATC are an excellent combo. Now we get FO + AT. Dang.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

I think issues with Verbos modules are known and most people who buy their modules are aware of that. I also think temporary bans should be applied for board members who constantly complain about Verbos in every Verbos-related topic. Or we should create a dedicated Verbos-related complaints thread i...

Re: Airlines Eurorack Carry-on Chart

I'm quite interested in an update about the chart and to know what current cases are good to go through the testers. A new case is more than likely going to be my next modular-related purchase and being able to carry it with me in the plane is my number 1 requirement. The info on cases makers about ...

Re: What sparked your entry into eurorack?

My love for 80's Depeche Mode, not understanding how to patch my MS20 Mini well because its patchbay is a confusing mess, my frustration with synths with fixed architecture and MI's Elements. I took advantage of a day off in Paris to go to Modular Square and immediately got something ace running aft...

I was more surprised by the fact the NF was cheap, actually.

The FO stil is the cheapest Verbos oscillator.

But I understand your point. I still don't get what attracts people towards the Bark Filter or Multi Delay, and I love Verbos.
