Re: Something New from Doc Sketchy

That MU panel looks great!!
Would be fun to compare it with my Encore FS, but I'm still hopelessly broke due to pandemic reasons  :waah:

Re: Something New from Doc Sketchy

Fantastic!!!
Congrats on a successful build.
I've been waiting for this since we started a PM conversation about you building one of these for me back in December 2017.
Since then I've acquired 2 Frequency Shifters but I still want this.
I guess I'm a FS junky....

Re: What are your 5U plans for the weekend?

I'm going to build my new 2U MOTM format Frequency Shifter, based on my own 2164-driven design. I've got all the boards laid out -- all the circuitry fits on four PCBs which are 2.1" wide and 5.7" long (although only one of them needs to be 5.7" long -- the rest are just that long so they all stack...

Re: Social Entropy Engine

I first saw this manual mentioned over at the Facebook group.
Maybe you can ask John directly over there if he's interested to host it on his Social Entropy site?
Great work!!

Re: HW and SW sequencer with eurorack

I’m not very experienced but I enjoy my Engine sequencer with the CV/Gate expansion to be the sequencer brain in my modest modular setup.
Unfortunately it’s out of production but can be found on the used market.

I’ve just started to look into this myself and I find the ADDAC 402 to be very interesting.

Speaking of mixers. What is that mixer in the lower right corner of the OP's Modular Grid picture?

I've got one, great module!!
On my panel it says "multiplyer". It'll be a collective rare module fetching a high price one day :hihi:

Would love to hear it. I really enjoy my single Oakley ASV. It's a bit polite sounding but great nevertheless.

I'm not brave enough but following this with interest.
I have a good feeling about this, professional and well thought out project :tu:

Recently used my old Roland SVC-350 on a song and can't help but wonder how it would sound with 18 bands instead of 11...

Good luck!!

The Bass Station II has sine besides the square and pulse as sub osc option.
Working on a track right now that uses the Micromac D (3 osc) as bass synth.

You can try my GMS-714 if you'd like. It's the most space saving module I know of that does what it does. I don't use it much because I find it a bit cramped but it's probably great when doing bigger patches. I've used it for cv controlled panning :tu: We're both in Sweden, shoot me a PM and I can s...

This thread got me thinking... I wonder if I should dig up my DW-6000.
It's been in storage for 30 years and my memory tells me I didn't like it back then...
