looks Blue Lantern ugly. Seems great but too compact make it larger!!!
Not at all -- compact yes, but good font choices and positioning given the components-per-space ratio.

I haven't been interested in an in-rack sequencer ever but this looks really cool and actually worth the space. Congrats!

Re: Results are in! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

I would never want a maker to sacrifice their vision because of some list of must-haves from a vocal minority of users. Let's remember: there will never be an entity who can/will enforce a set of rules for Eurorack makers. What the data from this survey may suggest is a general agreement among a ma...

Re: Results are in! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

So you can't give one example? Cool. I'm the first to admit that online surveys have issues and that this survey isn't perfect -- see the Limitations section of the report. But, when you share an issue or concern, please provide at least 1 example of what you're talking about. I might even incorpora...

Thank you to those who have shared kind words here or via email! So glad you're finding the report useful and/or interesting. Here I'll respond to some of the criticisms cited so far in this thread: No, this is not a correct statement. It was specifically stated in the thread that one should disrega...

Re: Results are in! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

The paranoia on this forum is off the charts: I am a musician who did this project for fun and, honestly, because the global pandemic left me isolated and depressed and I thought this would be a nice way to interact with folks. There are no products coming. There is no deep state. I have no agenda. ...

Food for thought: there was an open field comment for this survey where everyone was encouraged to provide input. Would have loved to have such passion for this project then :tu:

Re: Results are in! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

lisa, I provided that guidance because you posed the question, but we shouldn't assume other respondents used the same approach: this survey was shared on several other forums besides MW, and not all MW respondents necessarily saw our exchange. All in all, I would say that this survey simply does no...

Results are in! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

In September, the Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020 was launched to better understand which module features the Eurorack community considers essential. Thank you to the 300+ people who responded to this survey! The final report is now available and contains some really interesting takeaways ab...

Re: Qu-Bit Nebulae v2

See my post here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=226841&p=3321879#p3321879

It's based on an alt firmware (Technobear) but might work on Qubit's version -- just some small code changes and now I can record without hearing the input.

Even with the mostly useless (for me) slew this is still an awesome module – just want to say that. Also, ADDAC support was very helpful and responsive, so want to put that out there.

Mine is slewing for several seconds on the minimum setting and is p...

Re: Makenoise QMMG is back

I just think we can all make a small effort in making the internet a bit of a better place by not assuming you know everything and doing a wee bit of research yourself to verify information. Accuracy is important, but courtesy is supreme. You were right to identify misinformation, but the approach ...

Completed the survey. It might've provided some useful data to you, if the "Other" response gave the ability to write in your reason why your response is "Other". Thank you for completing the survey! Yes, comment fields following an 'Other' selection are typical, but since there are so many questio...

Re: Vote now! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

I got three pages into the survey and stopped because every question that far was, in my opinion, pointless. Every Eurorack producer has their own disposition on all these matters, they don’t all match, and that’s ok. That’s Eurorack. Absolutely! I totally agree with this, and would also offer that...

The feature list was a community-driven effort: Some features were mined from this thread (which sparked this project): https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=234009. The rest were received through a field comment survey conducted over the last couple of weeks: https://www.muffwiggle...

Vote now! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

Is there something you wish every Eurorack module had? Think reverse power protection, comprehensive documentation, or user-updatable firmware. Vote on 18 community-driven features and I’ll share the results here and on other Eurorack forums: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7ORQ9NkKcqdwYd...
