Re: performer (or is it per|former?) sequencer build

another alternative is to use a virtual development environment with vagrant, the one from mutable instruments works to build and flash this project Flash - yes; build - make sure that you have installed the correct toolchain version otherwise you may run into random odd problems (stm32s can be qui...

Re: Polyend Tracker

I can't imagine how they've implemented the stem export. According to the developer commenting the github issue https://github.com/polyend/TrackerIssues/issues/697, it can take 29 times the song length to export the stems. Eight times the song length would make some sense, but that seems absurd. It...

Re: Polyend Tracker

I understood that as a technical explanation of the stem export issue. Like every stem is calculated with slightly BPM fluctuation, that might not be a big problem in stand alone use and therfore they don't allign to each other later. Sounds a bit vague though and I could be wrong. Same - I read th...

Re: Polyend Tracker

Another question: is the bpm fluctuating in a single exported file or is it constantly off by same amount? What I mean is if I would export one 5 min 100 bpm stem can the tempo be 100.05 at one minute mark and 99.95 at two minute? If it's constant offset, for me personally that would not be a huge ...

Re: Polyend Tracker

Ah, I am not sure anymore - I thought I read something about an issue that was not fixable before discontinuing and upgrading it to MKII. But I can't find it now so it could be that I mixed something up and it only came to my mind now because of the stem frustration. I’ve just read through the poly...

Re: Polyend Tracker

Though I think that carrying that argument over to another forum in this way is neither constructive nor will it help to find a solution or keep the forum discussion attractive. <snip> Wasn't it a bit like that with their eurorack midi-interface too? I can understand that and have no problem if a m...

Re: Polyend Tracker

I had a polyend developer accusing me of a “temper tantrum” and lacking “understanding” on the lines forum (well worth a read to illustrate their attitude to customers) when I was asking about stem export. They did say they are unsure as to what they could do about stem tempo being out !!! Sounds li...

Re: Changing Mutable LEDs

Sorry if this is too obvious - but (most of) the mi digital modules have a colour blind mode - may be worth trying that if it is a digital module that you are having issues with. Physically changing the leds would be trivial but definitely check the current draw and any associated current limiting r...

Re: Ensemble Oscillator from Matthias Puech & 4ms Company

Loving this thing, though I do wish I could modulate detune. And clearly every modulation input needs an attenuator. Yes - agree. And every input definitely needs an attenuverter!! It needs modulation and the modulation needs to be subtle so I am always using a number of extra attenu-ators/verters !

Ordered a PoD from a builder.. hope i get it early next week.
PoD is great - you’ll love it

(But the main reason I’m commenting is to commiserate you on Grubb’s Disease - not a great year - widespread COVID-19 and looks like you’ve caught Grubb’s as well... :-( )

As they are so cheap, I personally just gave them away to random people who wanted them (I’ve done 10 of each version all told and kept three for myself) - I even paid for the postage.... up to you though! (The licence is non- commercial)
