Did I miss something, or are there are no lights above the keys like on the other Elektron keyboards? Both the Analog Keys and Monomachine keyboard had lights to show you what notes were on each step. So simple and makes them a joy to work with.

my 1.45B OS version Rytm mk1 file system can be managed with the Elektron Transfer application. It will now allow transfer of folders with nested sub folders which was previously not possible. This is the same behavior as Digitakt which I also have. It was a pleasant surprise when my Rytm showed up ...

I remember this thread! So much has changed in four years. Now we have equipment that runs off USB power, such as the Bass Station 2. If it runs on USB power, you can use a USB battery pack designed for phones to make it portable. now its 2019 and for my commute I have started using Korg Gadget on N...

Can't see the vid at work but MN3009 chips cost more (if you can even find them) so I'm guessing this is a digital emulation? AFAIK, Music Group, the TC Electronics parent company also owns Coolaudio which is an IC manufacturer that produces several BBD chips that are advertised as functionally ide...

There are a few pedals that can do the VCF/VCA with Envelope and LFO. Some like the Frostwave Resonator or Waldorf Miniworks have not been produced in a long time. Probably because of modular synths becoming widely available. WMD makes a pedal that does this, the Prostar https://wmdevices.com/produc...

Only true sampler I have now is a Digitakt, also have a Rytm mk1. I never sample into the Digitakt. I record and edit on PC then send to the Elektrons with their Transfer app. Because editing and organizing on PC is faster for me. I assume it is faster for the majority of users. I have been using sa...

Re: Sample Management Question

HI All, I'm trying to figure something out on the Digitakt related to sample management and the solution is eluding me. I've checked the manual and can't find anything. I've uploaded a bunch of samples in to the Sample Slots of a project and I want to be able to quickly go through those samples and...

I would choose a Digitone or Analog Four. You can save your work, and it has a built in sequencer. Analog Four can sound very complex, or classic depending on how deep you program it.

Would I buy again? yes! It is FUN. I get results fast with it. The reason I make music is to relax and have fun making music I like, so despite its shortcomings (mono samples and not having different clock divisions per track being the biggest for me) It is a go-to device when I make music. Some con...

I have not found this, and I use Ableton on both a desktop and a laptop both running Win 10, previously Win 7. Plenty of CPU power to go around. Did you do the usual new computer optimization? -Check your CPU settings in the Power Options control panel and make sure it is not changing CPU speed base...

This maybe I kind of dumb question but it might help satisfy those like me who are concerned about the portability of the new cases. If the uScale did offer a software bypass option it would still be quantizing the output since it is a digital device. Not sure what the ADC or DAC resolution is but I doubt it would be unnoticeable on pitch CV. This would means your portamento/glide would sound stepped unless some kind of smoothing...
