Re: Plaits Percussion?

an attenuator would come in handy to scale the sequencer out better to the MODEL input. (I guess) - also for the Harmonics CV (not as crucial - you probably want the whole range there anyway)

Re: LPZW.modules R.Koch

The beauty of this module is that you will not be forced to buy it. :D I am the only one using it and yes: fuck is this cool .. It is not an every man's utility I know. But for some people (like me) Hex-->Bin conversion is natural. In the moment the firmware is in a state where I am ok to use it but...

Re: Drum Machines for use with a Modular

consider doing drums in the modular .. get a small sequencer like SW16 and for instance PROK modules. A few drum voices under heavy modulation can already fill up a lot of space in a mix.

So .. populated PCBs, panels and all parts are here. I assembled the first modules yesterday and they are working: YAY Means I am open for orders. modules can be shipped within this or the next week (depending on how many will be ordered of course). Price will be 150,42€ + German VAT for those who h...

Re: Why no Thunderbolt audio interfaces for Eurorack? (+Routing)

I was thinking about AES67/Ravenna/Dante type interface modules. The latency might be concerning but the ability to route your modular to all computers in the studio or even to other modular systems, mixers, speakers directly is kinda cool.

Yes, that did the trick. Thanks for the fast reply!
Maybe update the manual some time. Anyway the Tram 8 is a clever made utility!

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

I've got following problem using the Tram8 (3U) with the Arturia Beatstep Pro: After pressing the learn button (3 sec) the LEDs are assigned from #8 down to #1, when I'm hitting the drum pads. The gate signals are present but obviously the CV outs remain at 0V (confirmed by my volt meter), although...

Re: LPZW.modules EC-MUTE

Hey folks, I have the panels here, the PCBs are populated and soon in my hands (if they don't get lost in the mail) and most of the remaining parts are ordered or already here as well. What I am saying is basically: pre-orders will open up soon. I am also certain they will be available thru Schneide...

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

The problem is that the CPU I am using is not the biggest one so code memory is actually a bit limited for a fully do it all MIDI interface. Another problem would be to calibrate the outputs to an acceptable V/Oct precision. I am evaluating this in the moment. K Hi, I have a quick question: Did you...

Re: 14hp for a kick that’s not just a kick

So this might sound like a complete idiotic standard muff's reply but consider Plaits. Ever since I found out (duh) that the AUX out in Kick mode has a more 909 like kick I am using this a lot (main out is more 808, but both can be seriously bend). Both have a lot of weight and you have the extra in...

Check out page 31 & 32 of the Tempi manual for Make Noise's implementation.

This set of notes is the closest I've found to a Select Bus omnibus.
The Clock Bus on the Gate line sounds interesting (not sufficient tho), but no hint if anyone ever implemented it.

Re: CV and Sync bus - Whats the situation in 2020?

I find one should have put Rst & Clock or full MIDI on them (or at least tried to get to a common place amongst manufacturers) but now it is too late. I don't understand how it is too late? These lines are already being used for full MIDI with no hardware compatibility disagreements AFAIK. Select B...

Re: CV and Sync bus - Whats the situation in 2020?

As someone deeply invested in internal pre patching I find the situation of those two lines unbearable. I stay away from them. I find one should have put Rst & Clock or full MIDI on them (or at least tried to get to a common place amongst manufacturers) but now it is too late. There are still one or...

Re: NE Desmodus Versio

i can't compare to the Erbverb but modulating Size is cool! especially at low density and in DST or SHM mode. You basically have three modes - one sounds more like a grain synthesis, one more like scratching a record and one more direct. (plus you have the internal modulation that you can slap on to...

Re: Thanks for the idea (3.5mm patch bay)

Hey, speaking off .. I made myself a 4HP module for bringing in the inserts of my desk via a "TASCAM to 8x TRS 6.3mm" cable . It basically has 8 "send" jacks normaled to 8 "return" jacks. The D-SUB 25 will be mounted to the backside of my rack (via ribbon cable), could be also going out to the front...

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

Congrats on firmware v1.2 LPZW! For months I've been looking for a suitable MIDI -> CV converter module to use with my Digitakt. Yesterday I came across Tram8 on Modular Grid, and its 8 gates & CV outs seem to fit my needs perfectly. Being able to switch between CC and velocity on CV outs without s...

Re: Another Case search thread

my second case is DIY but I have no time in the moment .. too many modules to make. The Modular Maritime looks ok, but I don't like sliding nuts and the PSUs seem to be naked CUI or Meanwell switching PSUs (I have not checked the datasheet of those models but often they have terrible load regulation...
