Re: Favorite cables? (aside from stackcables)

This sounds probably legit sounds like I'm trolling but I promise I'm not! For whatever reason, the green LMNTL/Blackmarket cables have the best texture out of any Eurorack cable I've used. Compared to the other colors they make, the green ones for whatever reason have a slightly thicker insulation ...

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

Im please to announce another new firmware update for PNW :hyper: Release 205 adds a couple of pretty big new features; A new much requested 'smooth' random waveform. Via the width param the waveform morphs from a linear triangular like wave to curved 'mario hills' A new 'Logic' output channel para...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

This might be the perfect companion to use Sinfonion with Midi gear. I‘m thinking mainly of using a hardware polysynth for chords. You‘ll need two if you want to translate all of Sinfonion‘s channels to Midi, I think. https://www.befaco.org/cv_thing/ Thanks for this. Similar to the poster above I w...

Second this!

Unless I'm doing something dumb and misunderstanding...
To add to this, can a parameter to auto retrigger the simulation if it has ended be added? At faster rates it doesn't last too long and you end up having to hit Z at regular intervals to keep it going.

Re: Disting Feature Requests

In mode M8/Chaos, can you lower the minimum speed of the simulation to maybe 1/16th of what it currently is? Right now the lowest value is still very fast, regardless of what's being fed into X or Y. Thank you!

Re: Hemisphere for Ornament and Crime: Logarhythm Branch

mrerdat: I studied the data save system more closely to confirm that I hadn't overlooked anything, and I can confirm that the Hemisphere App only stores four things: the unique ID of each hemisphere's current applet, and the 32-bit value used by each of those two applets for its current settings. S...

Re: Hemisphere for Ornament and Crime: Logarhythm Branch

I've yet to encounter a crash bug with my builds of Hemisphere, and I just now had a go at changing the algorithms on both sides a lot without issues. I'd assume that the hex loaded successfully and your device isn't having hardware issues, so I wonder if you have it in some configuration I haven't...

Re: Hemisphere for Ornament and Crime: Logarhythm Branch

TB-3PO is so good! Real fast and easy to use. Might actually be my favorite mode in all of Hemisphere right now.

There's a bug in the firmware where if I am choosing algorithms and scroll past TL Neuron, the module crashes. Is this happening to anyone else?

Thanks for this! Stairs will be super useful for cv addressable sequential switches. Also can't wait to try out TB-3PO!

Re: ACL Sinfonion

I also hope this is possible, along with the previous suggestion of copy/paste parts.. that would really speed things up in song mode. I haven't tried sequencing (non-sequential) parts yet, but I do remember Matias saying quite a few times that Sinfonion is primarily geared towards "performance" an...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

I've been using this module since September and have a feature suggestion for a future update: It would be amazing if Sinfonion had an onboard song part sequencer. Right now it gets tricky to program when your song form is not just ABAB or ABCD repeating (using part forward and part backward trigger...

I actually prefer this alt firmware over the expert mode one: http://voltexture.net/batumi-individual ... -released/

It builds on top of the expert one by adding individual control over waveform selections per channel. Check it out!

Re: How bad is it to go a tad over the max mA?

Power starvation is definitely noticeable with digital modules - I've had glitches/crashes on Instruo Arbhar and Intellijel Plonk related to it. This was consuming ~ 1.98 A with ~ 20mA available in my 2A case. I haven't tested the exact limits, but switching things around I've found that consuming 1...

Re: uJOVE, micro version of JUVE multimode filter

Can you describe what the problem sounds like? The bleed problem is basically if you try to close the filter all the way (any mode), you'll still hear a quiet "copy" of the unfiltered signal underneath. It's not a hum, but maybe what you're hearing as noise could possibly be the unfiltered bleed la...

Re: uJOVE, micro version of JUVE multimode filter

Finally had the time to install the fix boards in my pair of 1.0 uJoves. This is an absolutely essential fix imo. Its noise floor is dead quiet compared to before making it so much more fun to use without the bleed now, not to mention I can finally hear clean sub bass. Just had the realization of ho...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

One of my favorite things to do with the Sinfonion is to have a simple 2-4 chord sequence running, then have a 2-4 note sequence from an external sequencer running at a different clock division patched into the transposition input of the Sinfonion. The resulting chord progression can sound drastical...

Re: Instruo arbhar granular processor

Copying support email I just sent to Jason. Anyone else experiencing this? Hi, I found a bug in the Arbhar. I'm using a gate sequencer to trigger the strike input to fire grains rhythmically and constantly which works great for the first 20-30 minutes the Arbhar is powered on but then the output dev...

Have you tried calibrating the cv ins/outs of the O_C? Calibration sounds suspect if it sounds unquantized with the O_C set to semitones.

I've also had the problem with the menu buttons not responding, or triggering multiple times for one press. Some days they work fine, but others they barely work at all.
