Re: DEAD Cocoquantus BUFFERS

Well it’s arrived and so far I’ve had about an hour with it and all seems (!?!?!?😂) well. The only strangeness I’d encountered is that once buffers are cleared if I turn up the right coco input i can slightly hear a VCO from the quantussy section (when at certain places on the VCO speed knob)...I th...

Do you use the BAM in stereo in/out, or just mono in stereo out?
A bit of both, depending on what I’m going for and what I’m using it with (Eurorack/Octatrack/A4/Prophet 6/Lyra 8)...mono or stereo it’s an absolute beauty!

Re: Audiothingies Doctor A vs OTO BAM/BIM

I cannot emphasise just how wonderful I think BAM is. I’ve got an unhealthy collection of effects but nothing has ever got to me like BAM. It’s hard to describe but I want to put my life through that box. BIM is also just wonderful, and if you’ve already got BOUM then just complete the trifecta and ...

Novation Launchpad Pro MK3

Had a quick look but couldn't find any posts about this so thought id start one. Just pulled the trigger on one of these as it looks like the perfect standalone sequencer/controller to interface with my Octatrack/Prophet 6 (mmmm poly aftertouch!)/Eurorack (via CV.OCD) I used to use Ableton quite a l...

These sound great, but to me they are the ugliest looking modules I've seen, it wouldn't stop me from buying them, but I do keep forgetting about them. They just look like cheap knock-offs of something TO ME. I know it doesn't matter what they look like, but it is easy to not want these when the lo...

Only have a Morphagene and a couple of Disting MK4’s off the list off modules. Would be nice to see Marbles on there, and also Tetrapads many modes!

Ultimately (I hope) nobody buys a $2000 keyboard without auditioning it themselves. Yeah I get this but i think you'd be surprised! Obviously I haven't had a chance to play one yet myself but I have already resigned myself to pulling the trigger based on what Ive already seen/heard. Also in this in...

How about an expander with a bank of SD card slots, each with a ‘load’ button. Might as well throw cv control over that too! You could have a bunch of different cards with different .txt file options and reels (even some duplicated reels so you can switch .txt file options on the fly but your reel d...

Any one else twitching the curtain in anticipation of one of these? There’s some amazing sounding patches kicking about (rbeny on fire!) and it looks a blast to get hands on with. For those with the 2 position switch (like myself) I believe there is a workaround. On my model at least, if you switch the Hyper LFO to AND, Sync OFF, and then move the Freq A and Freq B knobs to the maximum frequency you can get the LFO to lock into a constantly ON position (i.e. green light shin...

Mine was shipped June 3 from Gear4Music and it does have the 3 position switch. It's a black one, if that's what makes the difference. Ahh mines a white - shipped May 28th. Good to know I guess for anyone thinking of picking one up from Gear4Music. Gotta say 3 way switch or not it’s a truly wonderf...

Picked one up from Gear4Music here in the UK about a month or so ago and there's no middle position on the And/Or switch for me. Does anybody have any info on when this middle 'off' position was added to the units? Is is something I could mod relatively easily?

It depends on the selected ACTIVE MODE: if "relay"* it clicks, if "spillover"** it does not. * Inputs are directly connected to the output via a relay, it clicks and cuts the tail. ** Electronic bypass, do not cut the tail, no click. This is the same for both BIM & BAM To change mode: press and hol...
