Re: stuber DDD anticipation station
im pretty obsessed with stuber. it is an unbelievable tool for textures. despite being ostensibly fairly straightforward it’s very mysterious. i can line in a basic arp from an op1 or something and start patching stuber and land on something that seems to evolve over minutes and i can listen to for ...

Re: Interested in a reprint of Allen Strange's Electronic Music?
complaining about the timeline for a project like this belies a non-understanding of the nuances of publishing. everything about this sounds like its being done exactly how it should be. cant wait.

Re: help me buy a second panel!
well shit, now i am feeling drawn to crocodile. if anyone has any thoughts on what this panel would offer vs. edelweiss for someone interested in the aforementioned musics (orourke/steamroom, cybernetic etc) that would be appreciated. getting another VCFQ is really appealing and i guess i feel like ...

Re: help me buy a second panel!
great comments here, thanks all. think ill go with the edelweiss. i can see how the logic modules would lead to interesting patches, even in rhythmic applications. also i agree about the truncated slope generator in the la bestia, i mostly find myself using the left side of it for fm which is fine a...

Re: help me buy a second panel!
i would definitely recommend edelweiss - the dual cv pro is going to be absolutely essential, and with four slope generators and an ssg you can do pretty much anything. the ncom and logic modules are great fun for getting into weird territories and non-linear motion yeah this is compelling. i confe...

help me buy a second panel!
im planning on getting a second panel next year and am currently torn between R*S Edelweiss, an R*S mix n' match (probably would do PCO, ResEQ, DUSG XL, VCFQ or another DSG) OR saving a bit more to get an STS animate. currently i have a la bestia and am wondering what will be my best next step. i am...

random source processing panel?
i keep hoping that R*S will release a soup kitchen-esque shop panel and/or some iterations of WAD and FS. anyone know if any of this is in the works?

Re: Help My Coco and Plum Find a Friend
definitely been eyeing the mosstone for some time myself. i’m a fellow “i have sid but don’t use it a lot” person i suppose. i actually like it best as a modulation source for PB in conjunction with coco. patching up big soups with coco/sid and sending cv/audio rate signals to the PB mixer blues and...

Re: MWRS - green bananas missing?
the mixer vcas seem to be the most undervalued part of pb2 and one of my favorite aspects. definitely wouldn’t take extra sequencer inputs over them
