Re: Midibox seq v4+

Completed mine a few days ago, I guess it took me around 15 hours / 4 days to build. This is not a hard build at all (for those afraid of soldering), you have an amazing video made by Peter that will take you thru all the steps needed to complete the build. When completed you have a professional seq...

Re: 251e v30 Problems

I guess they wouldn’t want to share the code for all the preset managment stuff although it’s has been reverse engineered at least twice

But for the core 251e stuff, I honestly don’t understand why they wouldn’t, I don’t think there is any “secret sauce” in there, it’s a sequencer...

Re: 251e v30 Problems

I also have an issue when syncing channel 2 by channel 1, but it’s only in the display, channel 1 is going crazy but outputs cv and pulses correctly (haven’t tested it a lot as I use other channels for syncing )

I wish they open sourced the code as it seems it is not really maintained anymore

Flashing firmware to 252e

Hi, I have a problem with my 252e where CV OUTPUT 1 is off by 0.1V (when I select for example 1.3V it actually outputs 1.4v). All other 5 CV outputs are fine. I was told to try and reload the firmware to the module. Downloaded the Firmware utility and the firmware hex file. When I try to load the he...

Problem with Crush delay v3

Hi. I completed building a crush delay v3 today and experiencing some problems: - in general, things seems to be working, pots/jacks - When I turn the speed to very fast, from 7 o’clock until around 9:30 o’clock, I can hear the delay working. Feedback is working fine, wet/dry pot is working fine - w...

Not hard but a bit dense for a beginner IMO. If you are just starting, I would pick another module.

Re: performer (or is it per|former?) sequencer build

Does anyone have "hum" coming from the jacks? I didn't notice that until I built a befaco kickall and tried to trigger it from performer. I get a nasty hum noise from the kickall out. Tried to connect the cv/gate outs from performer directly to a vca->output->headphones and I hear the exact same hum...

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

Hey, folks! I have a Rings build that is working as designed, except for that I'm only getting half of the expected output when in duo or quad mode. Another symptom is that there doesn't seem to be any input coming out of the WM8731 AUX_OUT/ROUT port. I will reflow C33 after work today, but my hunc...

Re: sourcing small through hole resistors - befaco

So will the Tayda 1/8w resistors work on Befaco's modules? I already placed an order on Tayda, hope they do.

for example this: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/resist ... istor.html

Thanks!

Hi, anyone built Cara (Marbles) and had issues with the X outputs (Right side of the module)? Nothing really happens, the CV outs do not change. Should the module work without any calibration? I want to make sure it's not a software issue before I dig into deep troubleshooting. Thanks!
