The dollar dropped 20% to the Swedish currency so I'm game again! When will they be back online?

Peng33: Some of the algorithms are just preset patterns. The 303 and trance ones. But there are several random based algorithms too.

but why?
Amon Tobin is one of the best electronic music composers in the modern era so it's rather understandable that many would like to know what kind of stuff he uses?

Re: Vote now! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

I very much doubt that lambo sales are affected much by what Volkswagen does. Well, VW owns Lamborghini so.. :hihi: ..but I get your point. That's why I chose to use those as my example actually. Went to school with a guy pretty high up in lambo's org chart. Interesting. Since Lamborghini is very m...

I very much doubt that lambo sales are affected much by what Volkswagen does. Well, VW owns Lamborghini so.. :hihi: ..but I get your point. However, getting into the high end of the market without being Lamborghini or Cwejman might be quite tough. Why would most folks choose your expensive product ...

Re: Vote now! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

Great question! I would recommend considering your "perfect world" -- don't worry about cost implications for the purposes of this survey. It isn't just about cost, though. If every maker had to write an exhaustive manual before they could release a module, many modules might not be released at all...

At no cost to anyone or should I factor in that many demands could render a module more expensive or even result in it never being released at all?

Re: THE SEARCH FOR A NEW FILTER

with the Joranalogue Morph4 one could patch in band, low, high, and notch filters in and scan between the four. I don't know why more people aren't freaking out about this new module Good question. Similar quad crossfader modules has existed in the past without gaining much popularity. EFN had a Bl...

It annoys me when folks say that a synth sounds bad. I just want to get one and make a great track for the heck of it. Silly trait, I know.
We'll see if I can resist it, this time.

Re: Dreadbox Medusa monosynth

Surely I'm not alone? I don't know. Are you talking about the sound or the sounds? The sounds in most of the videos are quite simple. The architecture is quite simple too but with six oscillators and 11 LFOs/envelopes you should be able to make rather riveting sounds. If you're talking about the so...

Re: Dreadbox Medusa monosynth

When Medusa was announced I wrote it off as being novel but a bit too expensive. Now that the price is cut by 30% I'm starting to feel a slight interest. Are there any annoying bugs or kinks in the UI at this point? Or is it just a delight to work with?

Re: sequencer to replace Varigate 8+

WMD Metron + Voltera? Way, way more than 26hp. ;) Lisa, you’re leaving this awfully open-ended. Really the most concrete part of your question is the 26hp limit, and that’s a terrible way to select a sequencer. Hehe, well. I'm leaving it open-ended mainly because I'm not really expecting anybody to...

Launchpad pro (the 3 has a step sequencer and a chord sequencer) + Expert sleepers FH-2 Maybe get an 0-Ctrl or another external sequencer and save that 26 hp for something else, maybe some more metasonix stuff :) Would you consider not being in your case at all? 64 Pixels Noodlebox might fit what y...
