I started watching the video. Very nice job. Thanks for putting it together. I'll probably go over it several times.
You're welcome! Such a good sequencer that seems to go under the radar a lot, I enjoy sharing the love!

Re: "paradigm shift" modules from your experience

monome ansible for me! kria app controlled with a grid has been most immediate, intuitive and musical sequencer I've come across. It makes the Rene 2 and Usta feel slow and clunky by comparison (I ended up selling both to get a second ansible!). How long does it take to get up to speed with it? The...

hi puscha, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated ! You're very welcome! Just released my new album earlier today that is oozing with Harmonic Oscillator! Re: Verbos Noise & Filter or SSF Quantum Rainbow 2?

I used to have the QR, and it was cool to have something to send a lot of noise around the place, but it also seemed pretty superfluous. I think 3 to 4 flavours of noise is more than enough. I now have the N&F (and a FxDf fwiw!) which I think is much more useful. I think the filters have a really ni...

Re: fancyyyyy Rung Divisions: Rungler and Pulse Divider

The rhythmic, percussive and textured sounds from the first Rung Divisions sound so bloody good, can't wait to see the new one. Awaiting eagerly for updates and announcements! Also keen to see/hear the Fancyyyyy complex oscillator!

Re: video tutorial for kria sequencer / monome ansible

Aw man, where was this when I was figuring it out last year?! Haha yeah I wish I had that too :hihi: Though I actually enjoyed learning more about this module as time went by, visiting the manual a number of times, and being very delighted with the extended parameter additions! I learnt it in conju...

video tutorial for kria sequencer / monome ansible

I spent a good part of the last week making an in depth, comprehensive tutorial for the kria app on monome ansible, my favourite eurorack sequencer. Some of you may have seen me praising this sequencer about the place. I have had a lot of questions about how it works and how to use it, along with so...

by that logic you could argue that displaying a crucifix is an act of agression, oppression, violence, hate speech insert adjective here. the hatred of naked women was started by the catholic church. I see this as the same argument 2.0. in my humble opinion, to decide for a women what she wants or ...

Re: "paradigm shift" modules from your experience

Interesting that you say that. I've been using kria for over 3 years now and find it to be fully featured and don't have any issues with functionality. Note tie (which has been there since I got mine early 2017) can be turned on and off easily, but because configuring it relies on setting some abst...

Re: "paradigm shift" modules from your experience

That said, kria has serious wholes in its functionality. For instance, it took the community(monome itself had already moved on to building new things) years to finally implement note tie and last i heard the implementation was still lack luster. Interesting that you say that. I've been using kria ...

Re: Balanced transformer outputs: I have Q's and would like your A's

I met with Meng Qi last year on a day layover in Beijing coming home from Mongolia. I asked him about his transformers in the Please Exist 2, which he said he got custom wound to be the same specs as the Cinemag transformer in RIP. While I already owned a RIP, I bought a PE2 for another modular inst...

Re: Interesting effects for live playing

I've found that the Mimeophon is really really good for live performance. You can get a lot of dynamic out of live manual manipulation of Repeat, Color and Halo, and changing Zone can really change the feel of whatever you're doing. Here's a video that I made last night, the main purpose of the vide...

yes i have also been on the edge of geting this for a month. i think a clear demo would push me right over the edge. bump, anyone have demos pretty please? it's kind of hard to demo. Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

Just picked up the mini horse and finding it hard work. Gets stuck often staying on one key when I touch another and the pressure is quite jumpy and doesn’t feel right. Decided to go full verbos recently and was hoping to swap out my doboz tsnm with the horse for more patching options but comparing...

Re: harmonic interval sequencer?

The monome ansible module running the kria app allows for this type of thing, which is what I was searching for when getting into modular and is a central part of my compositional approaches. It uses 4 channels of CV and gate outs that can be set to be either as straight pairs, or be able to have t...

I am also one to be enamored with this beautiful oscillator! It is a magnificent piece of analog art. I've already posted the album this is from in the Verbos thread (ahem), but here is a minimalist, rhythmic ambient track that is only the HO running through a Sisters and Mimeophon: https://puscha.b...

Re: New MakeNoise module: Mimeophon

I'm not sure if I'm experiencing the noise that people are complaining about, but I love the noise that I get in Mimeophon at higher Repeat, Halo and Color settings it's so musical. I thought it was meant to be noisy, since it's made to be able to get sounds like from old effects units, which are ac...
