Re: SixTrak Controller -- Novation Remote Zero SL

Have looked at the output and the checksum on the ZeroSL is not what I was expecting Found a post from Gearslutz 2010 [The calculation seems to take 7 addresses prior to the end rather than 5, hence the result of the checksum value is constantly off by the addition of the 2 extra values in front of ...

Re: SixTrak Controller -- Novation Remote Zero SL

Thanks for the replies When I say string, I meant message. The editor won’t allow me to put in a message long enough so I am inputting manually into the zero sl I am using the ‘Roland’ format which has a DV and then CS guessing this is data value then Checksum The only problem is that the checksum v...

Re: SixTrak Controller -- Novation Remote Zero SL

Hi there, Wondering if you can help me with my zero sl and xv5080? I am trying to set up the zero sl using sysex to control the XV. I am using the XV editor for sysex strings but I keep getting check sum errors from the XV. :bang: I know this is a vague description but do you have any ideas? Thanks ...

Making mults out of Switchcraft patchbay

Evening all

I’ve had unwired patchbay kicking around for a while and wanted to make some mults out of it.

Switchcraft part is M641/3-2

Can anyone please help with the wiring?

Thanks

Hi Julian, CNC is what I am after! I have spent the last 6 years or so building my own synth saving money by making my own panels. I have tried the anodising/screen printing/paperface/laminated paper! Now, I would really like some CNCd panels to tie the synth together. Just looking at the prices on ...

Hi Julian,

I would be up for buying panels from you for all of the Oakley range.

Are these printed or CNCd?

Thanks

One of Two up and running! :nana:

Should finish the next one at the weekend now I know how the wiring goes.

Sounds great, fun to play as standalone and also plays very well with the modular.

Will post some sounds later as still getting to grips....

Thanks for your help and patience :tu:

Thanks for your reply. Remove R3 and replace with a bare wire. A cut off lead would be sufficient, or a piece of solid core wire or whatever you feel comfortable with. You'll be putting a resistor on the jack itself, so hopefully you have extras if you're cutting an old one out. I will take this out...

Afternoon all! Im trying to get my head around the wiring for the VCO triangle outputs and have a few questions. Why would I want to wire the triangles to the normals of the other other oscillators? Please can you explain the points below? The triangle outputs are wired to the SWITCH lug of the vco1...

Is this the same for all outputs or do I have to go through the pots? In the build docs, p7 - What does the following mean "+9V (for f...

Morning all, Just about to wire pots and jacks but build notes have got me confused. I will not be using board mounted pots/jacks but I thought I could take wires from these points on the board out to pots and jacks. Can I still do it this way? After reading build notes it seems I need to be taking ...

I found a good source for the Meanwell supply if you are UK based and don't want to wait for Mouser.....

TME

Only took 2 days to arrive and they have at least 15 in stock at the moment.

Anyone know of an alternative UK supplier for the Meanwell NSD10-12D12?

Mouser are saying these are back ordered until mid February!

Thanks
