It can't go 80-100 but with a Rene 2 you might be getting close, specially if you consider some of the function page settings. I'd possibly be able to do something like this with the Rene and here's some of the things I'd look into, 1. Different quantisation settings on different states and differe...

I use a Make Noise X-Pan for submixes, and also the Optomix and Moddemix and Maths as pseudo mixer-type applications too as a in-rack-mixing solution. But, when I really want to branch out, I have a Erica Synths Link (which is just 5 x passive modular to line level 1/4" outs) and the stereo out from...

Re: First 84HP Setup. Have I missed anything?

Hello all! I’ve picked up a 3U / 84HP tip-top happy ending set to rack some eurorack straight into my studio desk and I’ve made a list of the modules I’m keen to get started with. I’m currently at 72HP and have 12HP remaining. These are the modules I’m interested in starting up with: Pamela’s New W...

I've been using the QPAS a lot just before my output to add in some dynamics to whatever I'm doing and I love the QPAS, which I tend to think of as something that's more than just a filter. It loves modulations, has attenuverters for all the inputs as well as some clever normalisations and the wildc...

Does anyone have a video of something made with Morphagene + Wogglebug? I'd love to see that combo in action Really short clip and probably not very helpful either, but this is a little snippet from what I was working on a couple of months ago. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzsPIWJlzeR/?utm_source=ig...

It's possibly a better idea to have multiple smaller cards with different sets of reels that you can then swap in and out during performances etc.

Can't you do this with an X-Pan?

I feel the need for a stereo crossfader now :D I know I can get it done with some elaborate patching, but a dedicated multichannel stereo crossfader would be super considering I find myself working in stereo with the Morphagene, QPAS and Clouds quite extensively these days. I do have the X-Pan too. ...

I've been shoving all the outputs from my Wogglebug into anything these days with different amounts of attenuversion. Latest obsession - the Wogglebug burst out through the Make Noise Function as a slew generator into the Clouds/Antumbra Burst blend output, set to reverb, sometimes through an attenu...

The Erica Synths Black CV Processor should do it. It's a 2 channel attenuverter which can do x2 amplification on either side. (Last I checked, it was also on sale for 50€)

Re: Copy pattern from X to Y

Hello, I'm trying to find any instructions on how to simply copy a pattern from X to Y, so both channels play the identical sequence. Any hints are appreciated. Thanks! With the 'SCAN' option you can copy knob values from one page to another. 1. make your pattern on channel X by turning the knobs 2...

Also, once you build a few things, a lot of things will become quite second nature without needing to refer to a build guide (even though it's good to go through it once at least). Stuff like decoupling caps near op-amps, diodes and caps in the power section, input/output impedance resistors - to a ...

Most of the kits that I've had experience building from Thonk have been fairly well documented. Music Thing Modular, Shakmat Modular, RYO, Bastl, they've all been fairly simple and well documented, some going a bit beyond and explaining how the circuits work. Befaco (I built the Rampage, other build...

Possible to do with a Maths, Moddemix or a combination of the two. With moddemix LFO into Moddemix channel 1. Attenuate by knob. It normals to channel 2. Plug in the other modulator into channel 2 input. Channel 2 output is your modulated + attenuated signal. As Moddemix is a four quadrant multiplie...

Dumb question of the day: Is there any differecence in a complex oscillator VS 2 simple ones modulatin each other? There's a (really) long thread about this somewhere - on the pros and cons of a complex oscillator vs discrete simpler ones. Complex oscillators are usually two simpler oscillators whi...
