Re: Xaoc Jena, Drezno, Lipsk: Leibniz Binary Subsystem update!

My hope is that the next Leibniz subsystem module will do something funky in the time domain. That is solely based on getting some intriguing results with gate delay modules like Propagate.

Re: Xaoc Devices System

I currently have a system that looks a lot like this, minus Belgrad. I love it. There is so much to explore with the interactions between the Leibniz subsystem, Zadar and Batumi. I have had Drezno+Lipsk since they came out, and am still learning new things to do with them. Jena makes the whole Leibn...

Re: WMD Geiger C vs T-Wrex

The Geiger Counter is an awesome Eurorack module. If I had to make a desert island case with only three modules, I would choose Geiger Counter, a compressor like MSCL, and a complicated effects module (Rainmaker, Morphagene, Clouds, Tapographic Delay, or something like that). Just feed the output of...

Re: Xaoc Jena, Drezno, Lipsk: Leibniz Binary Subsystem update!

My Jena sometimes sticks if I have been using CV (especially on the phase input). I have to power up to clear it.

Mutable Stages plus Takaab lfo gets you three cells in 20hp.
I used three Tromsos and two 2hp S+H which totals 19hp. But the configuration required a real mess of stackcables, or adding mults.

Re: what next for c-l?

I also patched my own Quantussy (I guess a Triussy because I only had three cells) - the results are cool, but it requires a lot of extra modules and a lot of cable spaghetti for a small case. Since I tend to create self-contained 6U 84hp instruments, I couldn't justify the space.

Another Mr Grassi tip: for some patches you don’t need cables. Try touching it while your other hand is on Mocante, for example.

'Teleplexer' patch with IFM modules and Mocante

I guess this should have been obvious to me, but I recently discovered that if you plug a patch cable into, say, a Sprott input, you can use the tip of the other end to probe the Mocante touch points and get a ridiculous range of possible audio outputs. The Mocante doesn't have to be plugged in to a...

On a related note, it is very easy to make Krell patches with IFM modules if you add a sample and hold. Without the sample and hold, I think it is possible to get something Krell-like but difficult.

I’ve been having a lot of fun using a joystick with my various sample playback modules (STS, Morphagene, Sample Drum) to get speed ups, slow downs, and vinyl scratching type sounds. Probably not exactly what you are looking for, but worth playing with.

In another forum thread on feedback patching, someone suggested that the Emptyset sound could be achieved by running a slow sine, fast sine, noise signal and drum kick into a mixer, balancing the levels carefully,...

Actually, you can experiment with this without the All Flesh. Try setting up a Sprott module so that it is on the edge of self oscillation then plug a patch cable into one of the inputs. Don't plug the patch cable into anything else, but try holding it in your hand in various ways. If you have Mocan...

Many thanks for such a great feedback!, it`s a nice gift for my birthday :) About your ideas, the first is quite possible, you mean a Quad Square LFO instead of a random algorithm, right? The implementation of the second is much more difficult, but in theory it is possible, I don't know how to impl...

I bought number 005 of the P3PB, nicely customized by Dedal. The module build is very nice and the packaging is pretty cool. The module itself is extremely useful and very compact, since you can use it for random gates, clickless random gating, etc. I love it. Ideas for other related modules: - Exac...

I've been mostly heads down working on the 100 Grit for quite a while. It has two interwoven use cases, a (somewhat...
