here is a great clip of the fellas breaking it down... i really like how they talk about the performance being in the mix! my old band use to do just this. we would prerecord the song then perform it buy live mixing and effecting on the fly. ...

Really Liked it, thanks ! What are the notes for the sequencer, please ? What are the VCOs outputs (sine, square, mix) ? Thank you Larry thanks for the kind remarks! probably more than you want to know…. the notes are: C - C - Eb - G - F - Eb - Bb - C (i'm not so good on theory so someone may...

thanks! i've been a floyd freak for so long this seemed like a fun exercise to get my memory back, or something. the contraption on the bottom is a maestro echoplex 4 that in my opinion is the greatest delay of all time. i scored this one really cheap off ebay. it didn't have a case and was broken. ...

on the run, sort of - figured out how to get a video in here

i finally set up my studio. this evening i messed around with my modular for the first time in something like 9 months. did a version of pink floyd's on the run to try and remember how this stuff works. every thing is self generating out of the modular and a bit is going through a tape delay. i can'...

The biggest issue with interfacing with other gear is that the 2600 likes 10v cv with about an 8v minimum. The only place you need +10V is for the envelope. Everything else works fine with 0-5V. Back in the old, real-2600 days, I think I often used the pre-amp to amplify external non-ARP gates. And...

perhaps a dumb question.

will the ttsh and a 5U system play well with each other? i feel like i've heard different systems won't integrate maybe because of their power. i could be remembering all this wrong. hopefully someone will chime in an tell me if i can use this within my 5U setup.

thanks!

Cool thanks Zthee, haha my first mod will be a voltage controlled light show. rad! please do this! and that is way cool about how easy it is to change led color. hopefully the thread is done whining. so much else out there that deserves being upset about, the bom not being released yet shoul...

perhaps check your junk folder. that is where mine went.

take the time you need zthee. none of us ever imagined being able to build one of these before your project so an extra month or three isn't a big deal.

that said i can't wait to get soldering and see/hear what everyone is doing with theirs.

i can't remember if this has already been covered. i'm sure i'm not the only one who wants to build an arp 2600 like keyboard. i have a sythesizers.com midi/cv module i'm thinking of taking apart along with a little keyboard and making a new case for it all to resemble the arp keyboard. perhaps ther...

great idea! sent you a pm.

along with a cd perhaps another way to go about this is to put this for download through bandcamp. there you can do a pay what you want and have it go directly to muffs.

there is nice veneer ply out there. pick something you like and stain it or paint it. these cases become big pieces of furniture, might as well make it pretty to look at. you obviously have the skills and the space to make stuff so you should make something that will last and make you happy.

+1 on what sunsinger said! i build cabinets for my day job and i would not recommend filling this with modules!! mdf does not hold screws very well for very long and i don't imagine this would survive many trips out the door. also with an angle like that i'd want to attach it to the wall. pull one p...
