Re: First multiple compact EG: Stages, Quadrax, Quadigy, others?

Quadrax and Delta-V. I think I agree. The Cosmotronic Delta-V does slew, which I need. It's such a pretty module: modern and minimalist, yet functional. I'm guessing you posted that because they also pair well? I'm pretty sold on this Delta-V already since you're the second member to recommend this...

Re: Organic drums?

Try to control drum modules like BIA or Plaits, with Marbles, to add some randomness and humanization, I think somebody has pointed it out, and I second it.

The quadrax is brilliant. You get used to the interface quite fast TBH. If you still want the option to slew/process external CV, I also highly recommend the Comsmotronic Delta-V. Kind of like a Maths in 10hp.

I have both Quadrax and Delta-V, I'm done in this section.

You are going to get a list of every drum module in a thread like this. Not sure how useful that will be.
Absolutely :hihi:

BIA and Plaits for me.

Re: How many modules outside your rack?

Frequently changing my three racks, no space for all my modules, about 6 -8 modules always off, waiting for a chance. Don 't wanna more cases, running out of space at home. Apart for modular, i've got a lot of gear.

I could do the same thing with my DAW but it doesn't inspire me the way a physical devices does (I spent a lot of time and money trying to integrate physical devices/interfaces with my DAW before discovering modular).

Re: What can a module give you that no DAW can?

DAWs are great but..... A modular is something nice to look and manipulate. A DAW is a software program (no offense here, most modules are so today, and i was myself a computer programmer for 20 years ). Used to play with VSTs, DAWs when they appeared, toyed with Reason for two or three years, .. bu...

Re: Intellijel Rubicon 2 vs SSF Zero Point Oscillator

I would like to add some simple comments about this thread, one of the most brutal I've read on muffwiggler. Despite being an electronic engineer by training and I have read and understood this thread by 90%, in the end I got bored, 35 years ago I finished my studies, and frankly I have not lo...

Re: Cosmotronic Delta-V - Dual Envelope Generator and VCA

I think Maths and Delta-V have different approaches and are perfectly compatibles. Maths is great, but for me a lot of options that in practice never used, and is too big. Delta-V in few HP, offers VCAs, snappy envelopes, enough CV controls, and even looks good. Anyway, you never can have too much e...

Re: Cosmotronic Delta-V - Dual Envelope Generator and VCA

Probably just because it’s relatively new, as is the brand, who are also fairly small and don’t have the marketing power of the big hitters (yet). That being said, it certainly caught MY attention, hence my deciding to stock it Matthijs from Cosmotronic is a friendly and helpful person, I have been...

Re: Best sequential switch?

Muxslicer is it any good? Take a look at the Divkid video, sure you'll be impressed. It is a very large module that would suck up a lot of space in my setup. I lack DIY skills and assembled ones are out of stock right now. Not so big, given the amount of stuff you get from it. It's easy to find in ...

Quadrax is a very complete and useful tool, Belgrad works well with Plaits, BIA very fun not only from drums, also very musical if you take some time modulating it. Muxlicer is also great (René is getting dust since I got the Befaco :hyper: ). Cosmotronics Cosmix and Delta-V too ! Hello Ferran im f...

Re: Intellijel Quadrax

I have been trying to record a video myself explaining the function but im pretty bad at explaining things. The question about quadrax CVs is that if you don't use them often as is my case, their programming is easily forgotten. What I did is record some simple videos for my particular use and that...

Re: Disapointing Modules

Dissapointed with modules that I have to consult the manual too often. Now I try to not purchase excesive deep or computer-alike modules: screens, menus, to much fuctionalities in the same combinations of buttons, and so on. For me, adding simple modules to a growing complex system of the whole is t...
