Cosmotronic Delta V instead of Maths.
Instruo athru instead of Tiptop wavefolder.
and so on
.. this is the way I suggest, to have more hp.

Re: Cure for GAS?
Very interesting thoughts tvparcable . I like particularly this Someone who starts playing acoustic guitar doesn't spend their time imagining extra features that their instruments is lacking. They're just happy with being limited to 6 voices, not being able to control the waveform of the strings, an...

Re: Cure for GAS?
In the end, the issue is the addiction to shopping, not just the modules. Maybe you have to get some kind of psychological help. It's a screwed up topic, if you really can't control it. I have long experience in this matter, I have bought for a lot of years, many things that I don't really need in t...

Re: When is an oscillator a voice?
The way I see it, a voice is an oscillator affected by a series of utilities, commonly called modulators, that convert it and give it the superior category of an audio generator with musical characteristics, whether or not it imitates an acoustic instrument or an acoustic sound from nature. So, it i...

Dr Octature, some outputs mixed to the MI Kinks, and mixing and wavefolding outs a lot with other sine oscillators. Funny.

Though I don't have it , Befaco Percall seems a proper solution. I use frequently Cosmix, and Intellijel QuadVCA due to the mixer facilities.

Good experience with Doepfer and Cosmotronic. I've been lucky for the most of my modules, until now.

You always may meet someone saying "get a copy of Ableton Live, a Mac, and sell your 50.000 $ worth studio !".Kattefjaes wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:04 amI'm amazed that no-one has just snapped and said "get a fucking Neutron and go away". Maybe MI Kinks is your solution, using rectified (half or complete) outputs. Works well with CV, I've tested.

Re: The pain of getting brutal with your rack ...
The same thing happens to me, that's why lately I bought a small 84 hp doepfer box, in which I assemble a simple system, which excites the imagination and puts creativity to the test. from time to time I change the modules of that little system, and put others. I have overcome the great system, whic...

Wonder how does the Joranalogue compare to the Instruo's athru ? , wich I have and is fantastic I have both, and I currently prefer the Fold 6. With the exception of the Tona wavefolder, the Instruo wavefolders tend to be more aggressive and dramatic to my ears. The Fold 6 is warmer, rounder, and m...

Re: 2nd Maths or Quadrax + expander
Have you considered Cosmotronics Delta_V ? it's compact, simple and plenty of nice options: snappy envelopes, vca integrated, cv control over rise, fall and slew, etc. Note than I'm a Quadrax user and fan, but Delta-V is simple, analog, not expensive, inmediate and super fun.
