Re: What new booty did you buy?

Bought an E-MU Morpheus at an estate sale last week for $400 and a demo model Behringer TD-3 for $125 at local music store. Perfect condition, playing them with my NDLR and pairing with the JP-8080. Now I just need to find the Stereoping UltraFun programmer to control the Morpheus. JP-8080 (pad & dr...

Re: Tiptop Mantis cases

Bought my second Mantis 2nd hand. Not a wise thing to do. I'm not sure what the previous owner did to/with it, but it looks like a yellowish C-64. Does any one knows if there is a way of getting it back to gray? Retr0bright? Sounds like a smoking environment or it sat in front of a window to give i...

David is onto a new project with Artinoise, so maybe that's where all his time has been. Dealing with R&D of that.
I'd like to think he hasn't abandoned his Soundmachines projects or company or customers.

Re: Noise Reap ISD Sampler

I currently have an eerie SOS signal looping on mai ISD as backing for the drone patch I have going.
Waht makes the SOS eerie is the slow LFO I have plugged into the CV of the ISD. Really warps it

Re: CV controlled Radio tuner

I would love to purchase an Arradio module. It isn’t clear to me from the website if there are any left for sale or not: https://n3wasmyname.com/arradio/ I used the form to inquire 4-5 days ago, but haven’t heard back. Has anyone bought one recently, or were these sold out years ago? I bought mine ...

I'm happy with the noise I get from my Beast-Tek modules, Dirty Glitch and Hyper Fist. But I also get some great noise from just the A-110 with the right amount of manipulation. :youkids: ...and another thing, I just recently bought the Jupiter Spirits from Recovery Effects and I have my 2hp Seq int...

There is a Jupiter Storm & Gaelien Moons combo on Reverb right now for $410.
If you don't grab it I might.

The Recovery Effects "Dirty Murals" is a good delay & reverb module. If you are just starting out you don't need a lot of fancy modules. My first 5 modules were the Doepfer A-110 VCO, A-124 Wasp, A-178 Joystick, Malekko Assmaster, Eowave "Fluctuations Magnetiques" and I was able to accomplish some p...

Before I bought the Soundmachines LP1 I used to use the Doepfer A-174 Joystick which was good for filter sweeps through the delay.

How do you like the dual theremin controller setup? I was thinking about doing the same for playing more expressively with live bands etc My traditional depiction of a "Space Machine" would be something that has a Synthi filter clone, spring reverb and delay. I recommend the STG SeaDevils filter :)...
