Nice write up as well. Did you know that the panel layout has been slightly changed since that picture (red "Out Kracken" jack between the 8-Stage VC Timing Generator and the Octal VC Integrator blocks..). Thanks for your kind words, it's much appreciated! Found the newer Kracken image. Is that new...

I'm saving my pennies. :hyper:

(BTW - sorry I've been out of commission for a while. Lost my father and my studio has been mothballed for a couple of years. Coming back into the light again...finally.)

don't take this wrong, but I have never tasted a really good bourbon whiskey. I understand they exist but in Europe its just JD, JB, Wild Turkey, Southern Comfort etc which are all just varying degrees of sugar water to my palette. Certainly nothing I would in any way compare with a fine Islay whis...

Scotch Whisky and Serge is a fine combo indeed. A wee dram of Lagavulin beside my modular here:

It flips the polarity of the input next to it. Very helpful when you have a feedback path to avoid cancellation issues.

I mention it on my Animal page:

BTW - This one is very pop-ish as opposed to my usual stuff.

The next project is going to be another long-form modular synth project like "Touch" and "Lost Terrain" were. The tentative title for this forthcoming one is "Eikōn"

Being able to take a 48 track project off my main HD2 rig and tweak it on a laptop (while still maintaining ADC) with phones while I'm on the run is a kind of odd sort of freedom I thought I'd never get with Pro Tools. :yay: To say I'm very jazzed would be an extreme understatement. ...I don't care ...

Definitely. Newark is one of our suppliers - very solid company. Good people!

Pomona has to be the most durable patch cord I've ever used. :tu:

Was running a Mix+ system for almost a decade, then took a year and a half sojourn trying out various native DAWs. Now I'm back in the saddle with a HD2 system.

Couldn't be happier with the quality or the workflow.
