I know that pain. Here, in Serbia, I'm paying 30EUR for shipping, and if my order is over 50EUR, taxes kick in (customs, VAT, DHL services etc.), which add up to almost 130EUR for a 51EUR order. Anyway, I now mostly buy from Arrow and Farnell, which have free shipping. Also, Arrow has most of the th...

@gwpt, you only need to connect the module to eurorack PSU, connect SWD to ST-Link and flash the bin (or hex - I have no idea what's the difference) file. No buttons needed. Or at least I think so. I flashed the firmware that way, I can see the lights, rotate them using encoder, spread them using th...

After facepalming several times and returning from the vacation, I checked the bloody checkbox and now Klik is chugging happily :)
Great module!
I relied on o_C for sequencing, but Klik is much easier to handle and I guess I'll be building a couple more.
Thanks!

Klik

I have a problem with Klik. When I power it up, a circle appears on LED display, and then fades out after 10s. It doesn't respond to clicks of the encoder. I tried powering it up while button is clicked, but it behaves the same. Pics of the build: https://1drv.ms/u/s!As1VY59IEWaZt1qnOgp7YWj0HKxe htt...

Hey, is there (or will there ever be) an option to buy just pcbs (or pcbs + atmega) for this project?
For me, everything above 50 euro means a lot of bureaucracy and taxes involved. Also, I don't care too much about casing, and that's why I'd prefer to buy just pcbs.

Hey, Onur, is there a plan for making dual LFO in the near future? I don't need a VCO atm, but a relatively slow LFO (something like 0.1Hz) would suit me great. Can it be done by modifying this Dual VCO (I have no EE knowledge, but in my head a LFO works with the same circuit as VCO, just with diffe...

Anyone knows what are RX1, RX2, second RX2, RX3 and second RX3? These are empty pads (test points?) on the board. I've built my second Humpback. The first one works great, but I'm having problems with the second one and don't really know how to debug it. At RX1 I measure -11.34V on both modules At R...

Rings calibration always wrong

I've built me Rings, and the module works well, except that calibration does nothing. Whatever signal I input (1V and 3V as in manual, or 1V and 2V, or 1V and 4V, or 2V and 4V, or a signal from a LFO), I always get wrong calibration - for a single octave, Rings outputs two octaves higher note. So, w...

Probably not exactly what you are looking for but you might be interested in checking out the circuit for a simple relaxation oscillator: http://www.analogzoo.com/2015/01/relaxation-oscillator-design/ It's a very simple DIY project. That is, actually, very interesting. I've always wanted to get int...

If it's DIY, can you not adjust the pot value to get the range you like? I'm pretty much a noob in field of electronics. I guess I could change the pot to something huge, but I'm not sure whether that would mess something else in the circuit.. I don't know.. I have Erica Synths LFO that is pretty m...

Hmm, Sloth looks very interesting. I'll probably get that, but I'd also like a regular one. I see that NLCs Dual LFO goes to 0.02Hz, but I don't like the range - you turn potentiometer just a little, and you're already in 1Hz area (and it goes to 830Hz)... If its range was 1Hz to 0.02Hz, it would be...

Very slow LFO?

I'm searching for a DIY LFO that would be very slow - up to at least 30s for a single oscillation (0.03Hz).

Befaco Rampage does a good job at that, but I usually need it for something else, that's why I'm looking for a dedicated (preferably smallish) LFO.

Any suggestions?

I am new to oscillators, and I'm frustrated with my DSO138. Maybe it works well, but I don't trust it, and that's annoying. To my ear, two sine signals that I'm getting from two modules don't sound the same - one of them sound more 'triangly', and my oscillator doesn't show that. So, here I am, savi...

The only busting you can get is LEDs going out. But I think they won't. You'll just get yellowish lights, or something.
When in doubt, I finish everything without LED resistors, and then check different values. Of course, you can also calculate that, but I'm not EE, so....
