sure you can. just be patient.
since you plan to replace them anyways just cut all the legs and desolder one by one, clean the holes and you're ready to go

Re: OPERA ROTAS, a DIY mutant drum machine
A question about the OLED.... I just got a 0.96" one but with the same number there were also larger ones. Does it matter which size i get?

Re: OPERA ROTAS, a DIY mutant drum machine
Yes Firmware only would be cool. If I understand correctly the pcb is mostly control surface and keeps the MCU and display running. So I could probably do without it, but I would also get the pcb + chip option of course.

Re: OPERA ROTAS, a DIY mutant drum machine
Is a FW only option possible in the future? I'd probably make a panel with bigger buttons. I guess i'd need just some perfboard that connects a generic MCU daughterboard and display etc and holds some connectors for the wiring. If not, a pcb + chip solution would be cool too, probably more easymode

Re: DIY Bass Effect (Stompbox) need suggestion
Thanks that seems to be nice. Actually I just ordered from there a very easy looking bass pre-amp: https://www.musikding.de/NE_04-Bass-Preamp-Bausatz I'm looking forward to doing such a simple small thing. At the moment I'm a bit off from the synth terrain. Just bought a nice bass guitar. Last fall ...

DIY Bass Effect (Stompbox) need suggestion
Hi guys
while i could certainly buy some ampeg preamp or an old EH bassballs or similar, there must be a DIY solution. I think I've come across stuff like that in the past decade but probably mostly guitar specific.
Is there anything cool for bass that people would recommend to build?

And even if you have never even seen a soldering iron before, it's always always better to diy than even consider getting all stinky with Behringer shit
