Re: Doepfer A-188 BBD Delay (4096)

No filtering happens in the A-188-1, so you could add a filter to get rid of the clock noise. The manual has an example with the A-108 (48dB) filter.

I mounted a feedthrough BNC connector on top of my new case
Can't you just install the modules on the top of your case ?

Every time I read this I am reminded of this: https://www.oxfordmusiconline.com/grove ... earch=true

I wrote them that when it comes to modular synths it should be Doepfer Eurorack, but they still didn't change this.

Re: Doepfer's Depth

Of course it is always possible to read the information on the Doepfer website to see the origin of the Eurorack Modular form factor:

http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/a100m_e.htm

So be happy the modules are not 400mm deep ...

Why do other manufacturers of cases not make cases that can actually hold the modules made by the company that invented Eurorack ?

Re: Creating normalizations in Eurorack

the busboards can carry 1 CV and 1 gate signal; of course the modules should be able to use those (which means having the 16 pin connector on the module, not the 10 pin). Of course you also need modules that can put the signals on the board, but only 1 per busboard (or 1 active and the rest disabled...

Re: LFOs, Envelopes - why no attenuation included?

People are always shouting that they want smaller modules ... and the first thing that is dropped are attenuators on the inputs.
Not that it bothers me, I have a mostly Doepfer modular. 8-)

For some reason the same question was asked on reddit ... I am always feeling the need to investigate when brand new users ask questions like this one here, and to my surprise I found the email address at stopforumspam, but with a different ip address. So I deleted the user, but feel free to further...

Both normal and vintage versions will be available again, with the AS3394 in stead of the CEM3394 chip. Should be there somewhere in the fall.

Add the Doepfer A-126, rare and out of production but they show up for sale used sometimes.
Dieter Doepfer is still working on the A-126-2 replacement, and given that he wants it for himself as well it should show up one day. It is not the highest priority though

The SY polysynths (distinct from the SY monosynths-Yamaha loves to reuse nomenclature) can all handle dx7 format patches, iirc.
I'm pretty sure the SY-85 can't :hihi:

SY-77 and SY-99 can, the SY-22 and SY-35 are only 2 operator FM. And the SY-85 is a rompler.
