Re: Peter Gabriel...

The Peter Gabriel's Secret World concert is amazing. I remember going to that concert, though with some other musicians than on the DVD ... It was on a very hot spring day, crew members were passing bottles of water to fans. Best moment was when the big screen started rotating, acting as a giant ve...

Re: Moving to Australia, gear logistics!???

johnnydoughert smelled of spam with his ridiculous necro-bump question ... but I didn't check the ip-address. Today I did, after seeing the post was edited and suddenly included a link. So I edited the posts with the link, and banned the user. But you all can continue to talk about Australia.

The retrig will only work when the gate is high.
With "high" you mean the gate is open /the note is played?
Yes, a note must be being played.

Re: Behringer - Introducing the CAT Synthesizer

I've watched a couple of the 'review' videos on YT, they all seem to experience a very glitchy oscillator sync. Was this a feature of the original Cat? Sync is different from the original, in stead of on/off it is now A/off/B ... very helpful names without a manual :hmm: In one of those videos A wa...

Thank you. I see Doepfer A-143-4 is almost the same by basic funcstionality?
Except that it was designed as a quad LFO which got a range switch added ... the A-111-4 is the real quad VCO with nicely separated circuits.

So what you should use is a mixer like the Doepfer A-138: attenuators on the 4 inputs, and an attenuator on the output. But then people complain it is too big ...

Re: Doepfer A-149-4 Polyphonic Random Voltage Source

Though the preliminary name of module A-149-4 is "Polyphonic Random Voltage Source" the applications are not limited to polyphonic structures. It just will generate 4 random voltages with a separate trigger input for each voltage. The type of randomness is controlled by several parameters. Maybe we...

Re: turn triggers into gates ?

You don't mention any particular format, but I will give you the answer for Euro:

http://www.doepfer.de/a162.htm

Or if you want a solution with VC over the length:

http://www.doepfer.de/a142.htm

If your question is for Euro, just tell me and I will move the thread to the Euro subforum.
