Re: Re:
And is that Club of the Knob's Kazike introducing the band at the start of this video? That blew my mind a bit. Or maybe he has a twin brother? No, Kevin Cole is a radio Dj from our beloved KEXP.org Seattle radio station.... I looked up Kazike and they do sort of look similar... HaHa.. I found a ne...

Re: Erica Synths DIY BBD Delay/Flanger
From the assembly manual and other people's pictures.... Are C36 and C37 also NP0 (C0G)?
Also... side note.... are the LEDs in the feedback circuit backwards in Talfred's post above? (circa Dec. 2019) That could be why it wasn't working. On top of the Drive resistor missing...

Re: Erica Synths DIY BBD Delay/Flanger
The BOM doesn't state if the caps are film or ceramic. I've seen different pictures of builds where there are film caps in various locations. Can I get an explanation on this? Does it matter if I use only ceramic caps? It would also be cool if we could get some feedback on different diodes people ha...

Re: Make Noise QPAS
Ever since this came out I've been wanting to see and hear audio rate modulation in the VCA input.... That would make amplitude modulation right? Seems like that would be good fun especially if the AM wasn't static, but controlled through another VCA by a nice ADSR..

Re: The Official Eurorack Deals Discussion Thread
Just noticed Moog Matriarchs are $1699 at all U.S. retailers. Not sure how long this has been going on. Just a few days at most I think. Some synth stores such as Detroit Modular still have 10% off sales going on to further lower the cost. Great deal! I ordered one a month ago and I wish I would've...

Re: Moogfest Sub-Harmonicon - What Is It?
Interesting price point..... I'm wondering if they are jumping the gun here by this? Isn't there supposed to be an official release? Or did the official release happen while I was sleeping? I mean, it's been leaked... so,.... (shrug)

Re: Feeling outdone by natural sounds
I like to attempt to make natural sounds... Then came the idea to make natural fantasy sounds.. Magical beasts and whatnot... So here are some alien birds.... They range from small to extremely gigantic birds. Some birds do lots of clicks and some have crystal vocal chords, and some roar like dinosa...

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds
Hello! What might cause the 4R7 resister to burn out on a uburst clouds? Ideas? This happened to me when I first built uburst - my case was there was a short in the heatsink, because the heatsink is ground and on top of it is a voltage regulator with a power pin which was not too difficult to short...

dslocum Cool patch of crickets! I am another enthusiast of patching natural sounds... i love this thread! So much fun to think of cool patch ideas in this regard. One time my friend and I tried to make a babbling brook sound and it ended up sounding like a bubbling cauldron in a dungeon. Good fun. ...

Hi! sorry if this question was asked before, but does anyone know what type of small potentiometer Moog is using for the DFAM, especially the "VCO 1 LEVEL" control? Even though decent usage mine got really wonky/scratchy and had lost a lot of his "movement resistance". Maybe it is possible to repla...
