Re: Buchla 251e demo thread

Cool demo's guys. Great inspiration to go mess around with my 251e. I'll admit, after many years of owning it, i'm still only using it in very elementary ways. Using the alternate sequencer modes always tends to get my brain jumbled up. I definitely wish I had a better understanding of deeper progra...

Re: 1979 DSD: Digital Stereo Delay for Buchla systems

Thanks a lot for posting, enjoyed this. Love that suitcase system. Spotted this other DSD video on your YouTube channel too, nice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HB2Gev3Xdo Added these to the DSD page on the website, hope you don't mind. Todd Barton is going to start posting some videos soon as w...

Re: New Syncussion with MIDI and Silent power - VIDEOS

Hey guys I'm wondering if I might be able to get some suggestions on what you think might be wrong with my PsyCo X Syncussion SY-1M. I did not build it, but had a friend put it together. I'm also not super knowledgable with building -- but I'm hoping to gather some ideas for what I might look into t...

Re: Korg Arp 2600 1:1 grey version confirmed by JMJ

Just placed a pre-order with Sweetwater, they said to expect it the first week of March. I read somewhere that it would ship in February but I guess not. I just preordered with Sweetwater as well. They told me the same ship date, but said it's not confirmed. Really was not expecting to buy this tod...

I'm not sure about the CV ins on the Prodigy, but remember that the foot pedal doesn't really output a CV (for there to be a voltage, there needs to be power...). The Foogers have inputs for the pedals that provide the power (most likely saying it wrong). Thanks for the info! Good to know this. I'v...

Moog Prodigy mk2 questions...

A friend of mine has a Moog Prodigy MK2, I know there is a different kind of hookup for triggers on it (S-TRIG, i think?) but are the other inputs for OSC IN, VCF IN standard CV inputs? Would the standard Moog CV pedal work for controlling these inputs? In addition, would using a Moog CP-251 add any...

DRM1+EX, DRM2 + Buchla [Video]

Finally had some time to sit down and experiment with my newly acquired Expander and DRM2 (well, i've had them for months, but been preoccupied with other things...)

Thought i'd share a video of some audio experiments...

Thanks for the info! What happens to the unit when you play too many long loops at the same time? Does it lock up and cause audio dropouts? Clicking and popping mostly. Hmm... clicking kind of worries me as i'd intend to use it live at gigs... I know they don't want to limit people from doing thing...

I don't have mine in hand yet (in the mail). However I believe I can answer your questions. 1. I believe it is by sample size. The limit being 4gb max 5. there is a ADSR. However I believe it is fairly basic Thanks for the reply! Very exciting if all that works as expected. This is making me really...

I just learned about this device, and it sounds very exciting. I'm hoping I can finally ditch my SP404, which has been annoying me more and more as time goes on... I couldn't find answers to a few questions, maybe someone here can help me out.. 1) Many of my samples are longer (around 20 min each) w...

I also need to check if I have any more old style 5FW cases because the new ones only have 4 front mounting holes - not the full complement of 10 because they were done just for regular 5FW designs.. Crap - I literally only have 2 old ones. Though hopefully there might be some spare ones floating a...

Great news! :goo:

I'm one of the crew currently running these stand alone. As an option, i'm wondering if you'll have any powered frames available to purchase that would fit the DRM1+X & the DRM2 together? It'd be nice to rack mount them

Wow, that really looks/sounds great if you ask me ;-) But I know how it's easy to get discouraged with DIY stuff.
I'll just hope that you someday revisit your work with this for the Buchla! I think it'd be a really nice addition.
