No, not working for RA. And Cody, honestly man. Nothing more was said before this except for me asking Lucia if I could get the quote for the store model z-dsp. You will see if she posts you screen shots that it was nothing but friendly banter. She lied to me and said that the Braids was ordered an...

Somehow I can't help but feel there is more to this than what has been posted (there always tends to be), so I have asked Lucia to send me a screen shot. Also didn't you post the wholesale Mutable Instruments prices in the Aussie Wigglers facebook page for a group buy at the same time man? confusing...

Haven't removed the jumper yet. Must do that tonight. The uZeus needs a minimum load - as such power is routed with the jumper as standard so that even if powered up with no modules, it sees a minimum load. Once you have more than 2 or 3 plugged in its best to remove it as its essentially wasting p...

This

Often its the case the closer you get to its limit the hotter they run (and they can get HOT) but obviously they aren't meant to sting you when you touch them. I found it was most common when chaining multiple flying boards together.

The single most difficult part of getting into Euro down here (at least for a technical noob like me) was getting the case/power bit sorted for a fair price. Agreed - and I even used to build some pretty OK cases on occasion.... Up until recently all over the world this was one of the limiting fact...

been using doepfer VCAs as outputs for years A130 & 131 have handy output attenuators mackies and other nicer mixers can usually handle the signals fine. wouldn't expect a $30 behringer to work well tho Lol they redline easier than a 3 cylinder Daihatsu Charade in my experience...... I found it more depends on whether the mixer you are sending to has "pads" to take the signal down a bit - I used to (well kinda still do) output straight to my Mackie 8 channel and it was fine, I have played other places where the modular levels just blew the mixer way out (especially if set up for...

But a physical store? So 20th Century: too many overheads, which ultimately the customer must pay for. Well on that - Shop costs (electricity, rent etc) are a deduction soooooo with the way the tax system is set up to subsidise inefficiency it actually works out CHEAPER often to spend that extra mo...

I've always wondered with modular retailers - do they have to front up the full price (what it costs them that is, not us the consumers) for their own orders from manufacturers? Or is there contracts that stipulate something like partial payments to manufacturers until that stock is sold to consume...

Interesting idea. I do love me some sidechainz

I just use to use a couple of Boss pedal noise gates for critical stuff.

Most places I played had a big rack of different comps etc though so with a bit of persuading the sound guy, generally we got it all worked out fine (not always).

you do not sound happy about that ;p I think it's because I really like open space in my patches. Moments of quiet, etc. It frustrates me to no end when those moments are ruined by hearing an oscillator still changing pitch and bleeding though. That goes for noisy busboards too.;) I know it's a tot...

I had always taken a bit of bleeding as just par for the cause really. I mean my QMMG bled, my optomix bled, the wet dry control on my Echophon (vactrol controlled) bled, I could continue but I think its worth mentioning that its the behaviour of vactrols that makes many go after them - not exactly ...
