Re: Mutable Instruments Stages
… and as iam about to buy one 2nd hand: does the alternate firmware also work also with older batches
ie. is a specific stages revision needed in order to work? just to be sure…

Re: Mutable Instruments Stages
Great, thanks!
Something different: how far can you get with building lets say 2-3 (parallel running) complex envelopes/lfo. Crosspatching to change frequency is one thing that i can think of. What else is possible in this respect?

Re: Twin Peak Filter von Rob Hordijk aka 3D-VCF / Oszi
nice, please give us a short feedback how the TPres works with the planar… as a TPres owner i think its a good thing to have the 2 pots for fine adjustment of the filter freqs but the ability to change both freqs with one control (the joystick) is great too, speciially if you can store your automati...

Re: Mutable Instruments Stages
thanks. i know it has been asked in the past.
is there a way to cv the shape parameter- maybe via an alternative firmware?
when fming a lfo (at the time/level input) the gate input is redundant isnt it?

Re: Mutable Instruments Stages
Ok good to know. Yes, maybe its overkill to use one segment of stages for something that a attenuator or a attenuator cable can do.
Btw does it sine lfo as well or only triangle, square etc.?

is it possible to have level (amp) control over an lfo via a slider?
i guess its possible using 2 segments?

Re: Mungo Enterprises d0, dual channel Delay
Well, I think most importantly you need a mixer to be able to create the "normal" delay effect configuration with feedback. There is a way to get feedback from just the module, but you need both channels for that and you might still want to mix the dry signal with the output of the d0. Its also gre...

Re: Mungo Enterprises d0, dual channel Delay
my d0 will come soon. iam wondering what modules you guys pair it with?
i think its a good idea to put a attenuverter on one of its sides…
also a vca for dynamic feedback stuff or a filter to further process feedback could be interesting…

Re: QU-bit Nebulae vs Mungo G0
ok i just listen to uzala´s g0 demo on soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/uzala/g0-speech-forward?in=uzala/sets/mungo-enterprises-g0) and compaired to what i heard form the neb2 it seems that the g0 is cleaner than the neb2 (granular stream). of course it depends what you are after. g0 might be bett...

Re: QU-bit Nebulae vs Mungo G0
Anyone heard both/ compaired them side by side?
At least on paper there are pros any cons for both:
Nebulae v2 has stereo out and a granular as well as a phasevocoder stream. Neb v2 can load much more and longer audiofiles than g0.
G0 has a wider pitch range.
Curious about other differences...

Re: cwejman res-4
Thanks for chiming in flo. Yes , thats what i thought too. But i was a bit confused by navs reply that his res-4 is silent when it is freq moded with with bw set to min... anyway. that thing has so much possibilities due to its cv ins. I think i need at least 8 more vcas or attenuator to make use of...

Re: cwejman res-4
I tried both, with and without input. Doesnt made a difference. For some reason i can hear the modulator with bandwidth set to min. ( iam listening via headphones) . Yes, i also cranked the level of the one resonator to max as well as my mixers level to about half way. i also tried the same scenario...

Re: cwejman res-4
thanks for the reply navs. that´s all very helpful. yes, i think its bleeding because i can hear the input even with bandwidth at full ccw and level and freq knob at noon. also get that with no pinging/no input... how did you set your level knobs on your res-4 wheny ou tried it? and when you say "th...

Re: cwejman res-4
... Also i wonder if there are modules that would be a good companion for the res-4. beside of a bunch of vcas/ attenuators, different kind of vcos for audiorate mod and envs to ping the res, i somewhere read that a quadrature lfo (eg ph-4, f8 etc) would be a good fit but cant remember the specific ...

Re:
hello, my res-4 arrived just a few days ago. big modul- great sound. here are two things i noticed - just want to make sure i grasp it: - feeding a audiorate signal into the freq cv-ins of the resonators result in low level but still constant bleed of this signal on the output … this is mostly notic...
