Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!

Yes - Buchla and MOTM are best friends! They really match fabulously (soundwise). I don't have any Sequencers and not many "Function"-modules. Those things I do from the computer (e.g. the MOTM only has two EG but eight VCA). Instead I have severall Mixers and a Matrix-Mixer (with Aux-Out to Stompbo...

Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!

sounds so much better now! https://bohnes.de/images/motm2020b.jpg ... and it's quite easy to build the cabinet. (just make no plans) First I arranged the modules so that I could determine the height and width of the required rectangles for the side parts. Floor, back wall and ceiling are glu...

After my MOTM modules spent 10 years in two 19' cases I've built them a new 48U home. What a difference!

I'm using Max since 1990 - i started with programming performance interfaces for Yamaha TX816 and AKAI 1000 (via SysEx). Today for me iPads are great interfaces (and I don't need to look into the computer-monitor). The parts that need Defaults for a setup (presets) I organize in tabs (like Audio-Rou...

Really nice case, that 3rd one! Nice one on the vent, figured acceptability to patching must have been the reason :hihi: 1) It just keeps the position. :despair: This is what worries me the most. Does it feel stable, how about when you patch something into modules sitting in the lid, does it feel l...

Thanks for the pm, atte - indeed i wasn't following anymore, since i left Eurorack... I had built a third case, which was designed after experiences from the first two cases. 1. lighter wood (poplar) 2. a vent on the top for having free access to the top row of modules (i wasn't happy with the previ...

Does this compare to a 210e (which is a lot smaller)? Never really understood what that module is good for, though I'm sure it is good for something. I don't know the 210e - but, yes it has 8 audio i/o's - which is not so far from the 205... The 205 is a Matrix Mixer. It has 10 Inputs (2x5) and 3x ...

It's not as beautiful or such a perfect built as Goike-, Weedywhizz- etc. cases and it depends more on a concept of mobility. Moreover it is 28Hp lesser than 18U/104 (as requested) and 72Hp lesser than a Doepfer Monster Case, but i post it as a "third stream" to the other concepts. Although it's hug...

I don't know if the Easel offers a Grounding socket (as the 201 cases do).
If yes, the easiest way might be to prepare a cable (or banana-ground-socket in the Eurorack):

subultresk would it be hard to build something like that into a little box like the Lowgain converter box? Did you build your own? No, Tony Steventon (Synovatron) has built it (and made the photo). I'm just a "user"... but you can buy only the GT-parts... Look here: https://www.muffwiggler.com/foru...

Synovatron also offers GT Elements.
Besides the higher voltage, Buchla Pulses need a very short peak.
I'm using this Synovatron (5x GT) module and it's great!

So, still no MPE friends here?
(that needs a cpu in between)
