I am not getting a good steady clock... could use some help

:despair: Overall, i've read through a number of posts, but I still don't have an example where i've been albe to make this work. What I would like to do is: 1) Take the clock from my sequencer 2) put that pulse into the FH1 Fader host 3) Have that clock rate be set to my MIDI out (via my iConnect4 ...

I've had my balanced nw2S::io since 2015 without issues. Hello, Sorry for the long delay... All up, I got the new one and all is great! So, I LOVE this device because I can now take 8 I/Os off the Synth... In the back of my mind, I really do want one more. :) But we will see if I pick it up... I su...

Re: FH1 MIDI time sync with Ableton

Yes to both. Here is what I've tried to setup: 1) Ableton has the IConnectMIDI2+ set to sync, sending Song, at 0ms delay 2) FH-1 is set to receive MIDI (D2 = 0) 3) MIDI Clock Divisor is 12 (D1 = 12) What I don't see (not sure how to get) now is a clock output from the FH-1. I had made an assumption...

What about Max4Live?

Hey All, I was thinking a bit more about this tonight... and something occurred to me... if I used Max4Live to sync the MIDI clock (in either direction) it could directly read (or write) the Ableton BPM... so maybe that would be one way to handle it... I guess the only other thing where this may be ...

FH1 MIDI time sync with Ableton

Hello all, I was wondering if it is possible for the FH-1 Fader Host to: a) act as the master clock to Ableton based on an incoming clock signal from the synth? and b) when needed, let Ableton be the master clock for the FH-1 Fader Host? My goal is simply this: 1) There are times when I’m recording ...

refernce guide

Hey All, I noticed that when I look under the docs and firmware updates I see a manual called "reference guide." I like the look of it when I open it, but it seems to be only available for older firmware versions... so how do I know if the reference guide is the most recent for my latest firmware? T...

FH1 and TCData Quick Demo

Hello all, I took a little time to create a quick sample video of what you can do with the FH1 and TCData. I plan to do a follow-up video on what I did, but for now I thought I'd start here. FH1 and TCData Demo Any and all feedback is welecome becuase it's my first video doing anything relating to E...

FH-1 and LFO pahse shift question

Hello,

I am wondering about the LFO phase.
I assume it starts at 0 and goes through 127.
I was wondering if folks know what the resulting phase shifts are along that line?

Thanks,
Brett

Re: FH-1 with IPAD , best midi solution contest!

I wnated to say thank you for noting the TC-Data app. ... I want to use my FH-1 with Lemur and TC-Data mostly in a computerless gig scenario, does the iconnectmidi midi+2 only work with a computer along? ... FH-1, TC Data, and some good personal progress

Hello all, Before I dive into the progress, I wanted to lay out what my goal is: 1) A good way to jam on some different drum sequences 2) To be able to interact and have them feel more alive through different rhythms, triggers, and so on. I purchased the FH1 because it felt like it had great potenti...

nw2s io --- loved it, but had to send it back...

Hey All, I had one of the io modules in my case. I LOVED it because I like capturing several parts in and out of the modular to my DAW and back. This is one of the best devices I've seen for this so - so I was super stoked to have it... I had it less than a month and suddenly it got warm and didn't ...

RECORD - some observatiosn so far

Hey all, I have one of the RECRD devices because I wanted a quick way to capture what is going on as I just jam out without the need for a computer all the time. In looking around I decided to pick one of these up. Here are some observations after using it for a short time: Pros: 1) you have a few d...

FH-1 request: software to map obj types + port to MIDI code

Hello, I have a request for a program that could really help folks out and that is simply an app where I can select a port (say port 9 - the first port on my expander) and say LFO and it would give me the code options for the LFO... Along the same lines be able to say i'd like a sequencer from ports...

Thank you, that would be appreciated... I downloaded the links, applied them, and then realized that it was the sample and not your templates. :)

I look forward to getting a link to the templates.

Thanks,
Brett

You don't want the pads firing off notes. . After playing with it for a short bit, it does not look like I have a way to turn of the notes being sent... Could I then create a custom script to ignore those notes coming in? (or... possibly assign them over to the voltage value on the next 8 - much li...

FH-1 and my LPD8

Hello, I have an FH1 running v2.0 firmware with and a single expander attached. What I've been working on is the ability to have a compact controller be able to setup sequencing for me and/or running of LFOs and/or running of just voltages. As a note: I am looking at Lemur and other software and iPa...

Hello, I just wanted to say think you for making these. I've been working on a few but getting these (because they include the expander) is HUGE for me...
