Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.
Well latest on the Beh front is they've borrowed a Polykobol, naturally there are a couple of inside shots, you would hope they will do a Polykobol as a flagship alongside their regular kobol, unless they have decided to scrap the mono Kobol and are going all out and doing a Polykobol. It certinaly...

I'm glad this has come back because there are a lot of people who will enjoy it but I've still got my eye on the RD-6

Re: Behringer VCS3
I've been reading all this discussion of the short pins and why they're going to make patching more difficult. I know little about the pin design, though as I understand it the purpose of the pins is to close a circuit. Would it not be easy enough for after-market suppliers to provide suitable long...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.
Behringer is changing its distribution model to only use major online retailers such as Thomann and Amazon. This will also result in price drops apparently. Exciting, maybe that RD-6 can wait a little while longer :75: I'm sure small music retailers don't find it very exciting. I wonder what Vladim...

Re: Midas 500 series
Never seen a 500-series case anywhere near as cheap as the MIDAS ones, price is keeping me out of 500-series but maybe if some more cheap stuff comes out I'll be able to indulge sometime. Saw a £400 tremolo unit in 500-series on Thomann earlier, can't understand it, it probably does the same thing a...

Re: Patchable filters!
Doepfer is very good about adding extra CV inputs and attenuators on everything. I love my diode filter for this reason, there are 3 inputs for the cutoff frequency, with attenuators on each. No mixer required to have multiple control sources. Underrated feature!

Re: Links to LZX Industries 2021-2022 Product Roadmap
another possible idea for a module might be some shapes pre-rolled from ramps - a bit like on the vc or diver - where you can get a circle and a diamond etc straight out of the module Yes I would definitely like to include some shapes and patterns for convenience. the VCOs are LFO->audio rate, not ...

Re: Links to LZX Industries 2021-2022 Product Roadmap
Thank you for your advice Agawell, perhaps there is room on the market for several flavours of sync generator.
As for the modules LZX has mentioned here I think Rotate is the one I'm most likely to grab, quadrature video VCO sounds interesting.

Re: Links to LZX Industries 2021-2022 Product Roadmap
It's all very exciting
I was hoping to put together some modules to sell myself this year, in particular I wanted to develop a combined sync generator and ramps module but that sounds very similar to "Perspective" so I'm unsure whether to proceed now. I guess we'll see how things pan out.

If you just want one module that will visualise your music for you consider this, I just came across it earlier today and I think it looks great;

This was my first instinct on seeing the topic but no doubt it would be too expensive for me still. Crumar Spirit clone would be neat as well.Bath House wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 8:00 amKorg PS- series. Absolutely nothing else like then out there, extremely rare, and extremely cool.
