Re: Can you hear the difference between audio interface A/D converters?

What were you listening on? I went from a presonus interface to an rme which was a huge difference in quality in both listening and recording especially, then from some alesis monitors to dynaudios monitor another huge difference. I recently purchased some Audeze headphones which brought to life so ...

Re: ableton live output Din sync?

Totally not what you are asking but I use the cv tools clock to send clock to my new pams (looks like old pams has same clock and run jacks) and then transport into the run jack.
I press play in Ableton and Pams is synced and starts on 1, I stop Ableton and Pams stops.
I use an RME Fireface to ES3

Re: The Eurorack Bashers

People are entitled to their opinions, Ive been trying to take the "acknowledging the stuff I love" approach and just ignoring the stuff I don't like (unless its detrimental to us a societal whole, like polluting the environment, police state, etc etc). Don't sweat the small stuff and lets enjoy the...

Re: Best MS20 style filter for Eurorack?

It's important to distinguish between early and late. The early MS20 is like the Korg 35. Manhattan Analog, Vintage Synth Lab, and Befaco all make early MS-20 filters. I make the AI004 which is the late MS-20 filter (the squelchier and raspier one). More info here: https://aisynthesis.com/product/d...

Re: Advice on adding VST's or hardware synths to Ableton Live 10

Spend some time with Ableton's Operator synth. It's amazingly versatile. +1 Also, Wavetable, it’s basically Ableton’s native version of Serum. The UI layout is suspiciously similar. The advice I would give myself if I were to start my Ableton journey again, would be to learn and use the native inst...

Re:

Someone was asking about how to convert wavetables from Serum into WaveEdit. I figured out a much better way than I'd previously used, and figured it'd be better to share it here. The compatibility problems with Serum are that (A) its tables often have weird numbers of entries per bank, like 3 or 1...

I don't use it as much as I should, but I used it for end of chain filtering and
I love running my drums through the envelope follower and having it cv various things in the patch, fun to distort/fm/modulate sounds when kick drum hits.
I need to mess with the LPG mode more :guinness:

Haven't found a big enough reason - so haven't sold any yet. Same although Ive done copious research on each one I have bought, I have probably 10 modules outside of my current 25 that are racked. If I had the space I would probably have them all loaded. There are two that I will probably sell/repl...

This is one of my fave threads on here, so many awesome cases. Here are my first timer efforts :deadbanana: Both of the wooden frames I got for $5 a piece at the local resale shop. The black one was a cd shelf that needed a little chiseling to fit one of the hek kits. 2x84hp https://i.imgur.com/dBMM...
