I am trying to figure out ( i think the answer is yes ) if this could be used in place of vcas in a patch. I don't know why I'm feeling confused on this. Could folks with one in use ring in? ZZ It can be used like a VCA (it has VCAs in it), but it's random and uncontrollable, so definitely not 'in ...

A few in my Github, or easy to make gerbers from Eagle files: https://github.com/TomWhitwell

Mine are usually optimised for 'normal' PCB fabrication (Seeed, OSHPark etc) - I don't know if you need different settings for a PCB mill

I don’t know if this has already been covered, but Doepfer has been producing <$100 modules (or at least <£100 and <€100) modules for decades:

They are (I think) German made. Some of them are even original designs!

Re: LEDs too dim

I am enjoying my Radio Music very much, but I am confused because the LEDs are too dim when compared with other modules. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so, how could one solve that? If you look at the schematics: https://github.com/TomWhitwell/RadioMusic/wiki/Rev-2-Schematics on the ...

Machines In Music Was Great

I particularly enjoyed the wonderful talk & demo about David Tudor's handmade instruments from Michael Johnsen (from Pittsburgh Modular) https://www.muffw...

I always suggest people start with a Mikrophonie - that's the simplest kit that I do, and is quite rewarding once it's done. The Thonk kits are really easy to follow - individually bagged resistors and caps etc.

the xfader circuit works as it should as far as i can tell, As I explained elsewhere, this is very odd - because the X-Fade is the wet/dry control. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/4235_screen_shot_20170906_at_094930_1.png This is the x-fade circuit, which I've built with those vactrols. ...

Hi, sorry to hear that - the BOM in the GitHub today shows 80-R82DC3100AA50J which seems to be 0.1uf = 100nf

Those resistors are DC blocking caps after the DAC - I don't think 10nf would be ideal on that spot

Would really love to see your BugBrand layout!

How strong is it when you're crossfading between two signals (i.e. not using the reverb)

I was about to do the exact thing uncouth thing that you did - and then I saw that no one answered you after you asked. Yes, works exactly the same - as before, the brick pokes out a bit at the back, so you need a shallow module next to it!
