Re: Random*Source Resonant Equalizer... or?

curious how the elby feels. the knobs on the r*s version feel perfect to turn (and the module looks beautiful).

Re: Wiggle Hunt, a new and used modular gear shop search engine

Redesign looks nice! But searching for "New Only" seems to only return Used results, and vice versa. Is there a way to exclude words from the search? For instance, searching for Mutable modules tends to show a lot of DIY and clones, and searching for Arpitecht has a lot of entries for its Triad exp...

Re: 808 toms/congas wanted

ADDAC T-Networks is basically exactly this. I really really want one. There is also the Leploop Casa CV, which is close to the same thing but a bit hairier. yes! i just racked an addac 104, the one with cv control over pitch, and i'm very glad for it. 4 multimode (low, wide resonant range, high) ba...

Re: Momo Modular

He’s been very responsive in the past, including once delivering a replacement module himself after the original was lost by USPS. I’ve purchased a few modules from him as recently as mid 2019, and never had a problem.

seconding ordering straight from addac. just did this with a 104, and i'm very happy i did. nb: their lead times are longer due to covid, totally expectedly.

Re: Worng Vector Space vs NLC Let's Splosh

Splosh fantastic for dropping in 2-4 modulation signals to receive really weird mutations of each. It’s kind of the essence of NLC: give a little, get a lot back in unexpected ways. Highly recommended: 8 hp for unpredictable, creativity-juicing modulation at NLC or diy builder prices is so good.

Re: Verbos Multi Delay Processor

i think that's where i'm confused. if i am using taps 2 and 3, what is 3 receiving? the input? the sound from tap 2? if i understand what you mean by sequentially, i interpret that to mean tap 3 is receiving the signal as delayed by tap 2. is that right? are taps 2 and 3 delaying the signal at "75"...

Re: Verbos Multi Delay Processor

Well the sounds is passing sequentially though each tap, depending on your time knob settings. The faders act as a mixer, you can choose the volume of each tap (as well as the volume of the dry sound). I'm not certain what the values at the bottom of the slider correspond to though. i think that's ...

Re: Verbos Multi Delay Processor

i love the sound of this module, but i don't understand what each tap does. are all taps running at the same rate? is each successive tap delaying the delayed output of the previous tap?

Re: Fixed Filter Banks - Long-term use, same-y results?

I don't really understand the two inputs on the Bark filter (Odds in/Evens in). Is it stereo? routing sound to one input: manipulate both even and odd harmonics. even and odd harmonics are normalized. routing one sound source into even, another into odd: first sound is routed through even harmonics...

Re: Frap Tools USTA

today i swapped my er-101 for an usta. first thoughts: the interface is pretty obvious, and what isn't is covered well by the manual. i love having rotary encoders per step, too. i am a big rene fan, and i missed the immediacy of per-step encoders when moving to the er-101. i wish that plugging in a...

What module(s) is everyone using for v/oct inputs? I'm considering Instruo's Harmonaig. Any simpler/cheaper recommendations? I wish Chord v2 had a quantized CV output option along with the oscillators.
Acid Curdz on the o_C does a fine job

hey all, been a minute. i've made some updates by popular demand: - users may now search by all of the EU: select "All EU" option in the "Regions" filter - where possible, pre-orders are separated from products actually in stock. not every store site makes the differentiation. it'll get better, but ...

three sisters, ripples, and vcfq all sound great with it when adding some extra punch or resonance. i've had some fun with a very resonant r*s reseq, too.
