Re: Module for heavy bass?

Hadn't noticed this thread resurrected... I start with the sub bass, split the cv off to a second voice, add a positive voltage offset and a second CV for variation to create the normal bassline. So instead of stripping variation and dropping an octave to create a simplified sub bass, im building a ...

Re: Teepee resistors

Form the lead by bending it over a round object like coat-hanger wire. That will give you a consistent bend on all vertical components.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole, google 'Axial lead forming' or 'Axial lead strain relief'.

How many iterations have the stackcables had now, like 3?

Im not going to risk a new product and the original 'yellow stackcable' failure, will keep buying from the company that's perfected their product.

...typical heavy-handed behaviour from the usual suspect. Actually, it's the final step in a very long, drawn out, multiple-warning drama. A drama that included multiple promises to the previous owner and new promises to multiple Mods, promises that continue to be broken. Not that other people's wa...

Who needs politics to polarize and damage a community. is it really a "community" where you can only talk about certain things? No, obviously the only 'true communities' are ones in which all speech is free and nothing is censored, whether that be politics, incest, paedophilia, or just pure hate sp...

Re: Does everyone eventually have to get a Maths?

If you're going to look for alternatives, be aware they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. For instance, the A-171-2 is my ideal slew with all the controls I want, but doesn't work in a (1v/oct) Portamento patch without tracking issues that require another module (a cv buff). Sometimes you...

All we can do (as a people) is vote. Sorry if that's too political for the forum. It's not. We (moderators) just don't want political pundits using the platform to cause division, or engage in 'shaming', for not voting a certain way. There are numerous examples of what you just posted, being left u...

Electrical Engineers come up with designs and focus on math, Technicians build the circuits, test and repair them. I enjoyed doing the trade when I was younger, and the apprenticesh...
